Damage glitching with hand held should be fixed.
Nothing manacles shouldn’t be able to infinitely chain while you also get your nade back in 2 seconds.

nothing manacles is fine dmg chunking bug should be fixed sure
nothing manacles is fine dmg chunking bug should be fixed sure
Nothing manacles further removing weapons from the gameplay equation is hardly fine.
-
It was my build for all of D1, but now it’s a problem?
-
How dense are you LOL Nothing Manacales in D1 didn’t weaken, give three charges, and infinitely duplicate itself on kills while also giving you near infinite grenades. Come on man, why are you pretending to be dumb?
-
You say this as if you aren’t using handheld supernova for the bug which makes it infinitely more busted with insane damage and constant uptime
-
You replied to the wrong person lol
-
You had it on your warlock last night lol. Don’t deny it
-
I never said I don’t use it? What are you even talking about lol
It was my build for all of D1, but now it’s a problem?
Is this D1?
-
It’s still clearing rooms. I’m still getting grenades back fast (and In D1 it was literally infinite energy). So what makes it different between D1 and D2?

If you jut wanted what it did in D1, it worked more like that before the buff.

Just don't use it
-
Just don't use it
Using it or not doesn’t change that it’s not healthy for the game to continue in the direction it’s going.
-
By what metric are you judging 'healthy'?

Edytowany przez użytkownika Bore: 12/19/2025 10:29:41 PM
By what metric are you judging 'healthy'?
Game fun, people staying, people joining, etc. When things exit that trivialize content, content gets made to match. The barrier to entry grows and the combat moves further and further away from the game’s roots. There is a real why nothing is fun in the game now without spawning thousands of adds. It’s perfectly okay to acknowledge something is too good and needs to be toned down. Power creep is destroying this game. Honestly beyond saving.

Game fun is different things to different people; power fantasy is one of the more popular ones. I do agree Bungie are at times balancing around too high a point though; I get why Contest is balanced around the absolute peak, but I think they are setting the floor in the higher difficulties to high in part due to how high the pinnacle can be. But I don't think that means everything needs to be nerfed; sure fix the bugs like the empty sword or whatever the recent one with Handheld is, but honestly, it's ok for us to be powerful. Not everything needs to be a sweatfest. By game population, when we were getting the most new players and losing the fewest vets, that was post Witch Queen, where Subclasses were being empowered and crafting was a thing, giving easier access to god rolls to people willing to put the time in. Raw power has never been the problem; Bungie's decision and methods to try to reign it in have been.

And one thing being way better than everything else doesn’t promote build diversity. There’s a reason why mint retrograde was 45% of peoples kinetic slots pick.
-
The answer to one thing being miles ahead is to buff other things to at least compete. Yeah Mint dominated usage; but what Bungie has done is add Psi Aeterna and a minor nerf to the ammo economy of the weapon type; not halve the damage or move it to being a Heavy.

Edytowany przez użytkownika TonnoSenpai: 12/19/2025 7:59:45 AMnot a problem, we don't need to nerf manacles but bungie needs to remove dmg scaling with deltas from primary and reduce the scaling on specials ofc only vs red bars and majors, ez fix

Every class already have builds that don’t require gunplay. Why get rid of one but let the other classes keep theirs?
-
They big mad because manacle kills are robbing their kills and connected ability regen. You know, kind of like running an old strike and trying to get kills but your running with a guy using Trinity Ghoul.

Nothing manacles are far from the most broke thing in the game. Just one of many things that’s in need of adjustment.

So you wanna play a space magic game and use guns? Weird to me but hey… you do you… you don’t have to use the abilities my guy.
