Nobody is pushing Marathon on you.
They're marketing their new game.
Welcome to all of game sales ever.

Close! If you squint!
-
They changed the TWAB to TWID and then made the latest TWID all about Marathon....
-
The latest news release is named TWAB, not TWID. Bungie changed the name back to the original name. Everyone was using the old name anyway. It should never have been changed.
-
Yay! Online bullying worked!
-
So what? The only reason many people read it is for something to bi*ch about; this is Bungie fulfilling a demand. If they didn't want it "pushed" on them, they shouldn't have watched the go**amn stream and videos about the game.
-
TWID stands for "This week in Destiny" and yet it was about Marathon not Destiny therefore they are marketing Marathon via Destiny
-
Again, so what; are you suggesting it would've mattered what the hell they called it? The outcome would've been the same regardless, which is a bunch of morons that went out of their way to find as much on the game as they could, only to turn around and say it "was pushed on them."
-
LoL, of course not! If anything I'm advocating for them to rename it back to TWAB!!!
-
They could call it 'The Weekly Mental Douc*ing' for all it matters, the results would remain the same.
-
The weekly "You're going to buy it anyways"
-
That's not far off the mark either; how about 'The Weekly "It doesn't matter what we say, you're going to complain anyway" Post.'
-
LoL, how about The Weekly "Your Boos Mean Nothing I've Seen What Makes You Cheer"
-
I think I have it: The One-Time Ever 'It's Not Worth It Trying to Satisfy You So We're Out' Post.
-
Featuring Pete Parsons and his 'Golden Parachute' Destiny YouTubers Call it "Guess I'm going back to retail"
-
I've worked in customer service; it's not nearly as thankless as serving this lot is.
-
I dunno, I'd rather not risk getting stabbed because the "chef" left the pickles on some dudes Big Mac. The less direct interactions with customers the better.
-
😂 I admit when I bartended, there was an obvious risk of "unruly" patrons, but I can only remember one instance where 2 got rowdy and it was with each other; not directed towards me or other staff members. Besides, it's not like the same couldn't happen anywhere else. People have gone Rambo on their co-workers in office buildings before.
-
If a co-worker shows up to work shirtless and bow in hand it's on you for not leaving asap.
-
What if it's "Casual Friday...........?"
