Battle eye
During gameplay whilst doing bounties I recieved a message stating battle eye runtime error and game closed since then I am unable to run game as each time I log in through steam it says Destiny 2 is already running this is despite the PC having been shut down for over 10 mins so as it stands the game is unplayable

Check for updates. The one that triggers it for me is my motherboard. It pushes updates weekly. Do updates. Restart computer. Ctrl alt delete for task manager to close the application/s not wanted. Then reboot the game.
