In game reporting system needs an update.
For instant, there's no option for in game toxic behavior. For instant, ppl bering utterly toxic in trials. And then reports needs to be taken seriously from Bungies behalf. Stop using alot of focus on your fond project , all your bullcrap about "mental health" support falls short, when you you allow toxic behavior go unchecked in game, with a report system as old and unstable as windows 95...
Mainly the report system just needs an overhaul.

You can report all you want but i doubt anything will be done about it. The ninjas in the forums do a way better job at this than the in game ppl. So, in conclusion: You got bad teammates? Leave and join another one. Or better yet: Create your own fireteam. It sucks ik but at the moment we have nothing in place to fix that.

LMAO nothing happens anyway when you report someone, so you could just delete the system from the game. when you see how many clans are known to be cheaters with their (Aim assist device -MnK) device on console+pc + lag switch++++ and nothing happens. the reporting system is simply fake. there are enough videos where one of the users has been reported 100 times and nothing happens, you still see them every day. (even though they have been banned 2-3 times on Steam VAC) I mean, its clear that Bungie doesnt want to ban them, otherwise 30% of the players would be gone, which is 60-70% on console.

Although, you should maybe clarify what you consider as being toxic as what you find toxic might not be in terms of action being taken.

Some kid sent me a video of me apparently cheating 😂 all I did was slide shotgun then lightning melee him. If anything he was cheating he had laser beam aim he auto locked into my stasis turrent killed it then auto locked on me but I already shotgun melee him
