It's popular to hate on Destiny, especially now with all the burnout people have and bad press going on with Bungie. In total agreement with casuals don't use the forums, actual casuals will play the free trial of D2 and quit or jump on for a couple hours then log off. They don't watch D2 vids or streams, they don't discuss the game on reddit or the forums, they have a wife two jobs and seven kids to deal with.

You're hurting yourself by speaking like this, numbers are on life support & if there's less players it affects YOU directly in matchmaking & the game getting less budget & content going forward. . If you're sick of reading it don't read it, don't open the app. Forums are for criticism & for people to vent.

You aren't intelligent at all. Fact. The only reason this game has lasted until now is because of the negative feedback that comes when Bungie's screwing up. Otherwise it would have died in Y1 of D2. The current game director is a coward who only listens to positive feedback and doesn't communicate with the playerbase. That's why numbers are so low the game is losing money.

Funnily enough, the negative feedback or exit comments are because of the goodwill people still have towards the game, or Bungie as a whole. For example, if you're in a bad relationship when it comes time to leave, you want to leave quickly, break the habit, block their number, stop hanging out with their friends, etc. If things are rough but you still love them though, you're going to try to save the relationship, and even if it can't be saved, you give the feedback of what went wrong, or how they affected you because you want them to do better in the future. You care about them, and their future, even if you're not going to be a part of it. The same is true of this game that people sink so much time into. If we didn't care, we'd do just like you're saying and just leave. Tons of people have. Then we start to see the people who are unhappy, but still want the game to be something they can have in their lives and desperately try to give feedback so the game CAN be better, can go back to something they want to engage with and associate with. Finally, we have the people who need to speak about their exits, what was the final straw, what did the game give them before it got so bad, etc. I'm not a fan of this word but, that's all "valid". That's all important and has value to the company/game/community at large. Ultimately a lot of feedback goes unheard, and that's when we see the surge in "whining". To many there seem to be obvious issues with the game that have been spoken of for literal years at this point and Bungie still buries its head in the sand... UNTIL, things get dire. Until the supposed whining is the only thing that can be heard because of all the earnest and intentional feedback has been ignored for long enough that they've all moved on. You know what does more damage to the game than whining? It's the complacent, it's the toxic positivity, it's the "Bungie can do no wrong and we just have to stand by them" crowd, that ignore the writing on the wall and shout down others for saying they are unhappy. "Oh you're just haters, the game is so good, it has x and y, who cares about z?" Yes, it has x and y, and we want to see it have abcd...z too. This isn't some game on steam made by a single dev that we got for a buck on a whim. This is a mutlimillion dollar game from a studio who sold for billions that most people have payed probably hundreds of dollars for over the years, and they are trying to get away with serving just x and y after selling us on the idea of the alphabet as a whole. It needs to be held to a higher standard, it has so much potential and seeing it squandered, from the perspective of someone who loves/d the game, sucks. That's why the feedback continues, that's why the feedback grows in severity, that's why when ignored, only the "whiners" are left. They'll leave as well, just give it time. Guess what, the game will leave then too, because the "sun's always shining" crowd don't bring in enough revenue to keep the game going. Also, it's literally a forum for feedback so... complaining about people giving feedback is even worse than the most obnoxious of whiners IMO.

I'd assume it's because some of the people complaining or claiming they are quitting just to be back on the next day are just wanting some attention. Then there are also some that think destiny is the only game to exist, so they have to hate it and play all the time.

These cheap -blam!- waste all the cash that could have been used to fix the massive glaring issues. But NO they didn’t give a fk so ya I’m here to let them know they are -blam!-.
