I do believe, above all else, a multi-player game should strive to produce the highest possible internet quality. So the games doesn't feel like a laggy trash experience... but at the moment, destiny 2 feels like a trashy multi-player experience. It's f'ed up how many times you'll see a hunter producing a specter, and then the dodge animation comes a second after. Or a auto shooting like a scoutrifle, some ppl popping the super, getting killed and still keeps their super.
Overall this game has some serious connectivity issues that too often makes pvp a trash experience.
Not to mention how often that happens when playing against other platforms, cause cross platform works like poop.
And the sad part, bungie blames the players, for bad connections... 🤢🤮

I am honestly just so tired of having to deal with this weirdness in pvp, i just want to play a game where every game feels kinda the same in terms of shooting and how players move, and not have to deal with all this weird connection and hit registration stuff.

Seems odd to me… Back in Halo, the internet speed/quality was a fraction of what it is now, but millions could play. Now it’s worse???

Lag is a huge issue in this game, its almost part of the game…it can be uber frustrating to put 250 damage into someone and it does not register and he/she subsequently kills you… That what you get when a good chunk of the pvp playerbase has single digit download speeds…

PvE is a laggy mess. Bumping into fellows guardians that aren’t there on your screen then one of you falling to your death. I can only imagine how bad it is in crucible. I’ve got to step into that 💩show to get my big pile of bright dust this season. Left it to almost the last minute, as crucible is unbearable currently. Even skipped the last Iron Banana as what’s the point? Crap modes, grinding for crap weapons in a lagfest that is almost unplayable? Nah, I’m good Bungo.

1 OdpowiedźBungle caught the mind virus. Too few there are actually able to work. Some of them are spending 3 hours a day on social media during workhours.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Sioux: 9/29/2024 9:58:58 PMYeah its pretty bad. I am on 500 up and 500 down, but i guess that does not really matter because some of the lobbies i get into are insane. People shooting me before they peek, and i am not talking quick shoulder peeking with a handcannon, i am talking a pulse rifle burst to the face and after it hits the guy strafes out wide. Bullets not registering, this one drives me insane because i start trying to compensate for it when things dont hit like they normally do and it messes up my muscle memory. Kills registering up to two seconds after i kill them. Stutter stepping. Nuked by stuff like handcannons before they realistically should be able to fire off three shots, i can fire first, hit two headshots and just die to what should be the other players second shot. And then there is the good old point blank shotgun whiffs and the melee whiffs. Like i dont know what the heck is going on with some of these lobbies, but its like they can see me pop up around a corner before i can see them sometimes, granted some of these instances are probably just good players that knows how to read the game and it just feels like they have some kind of high ping advantage or something. But other times its some dude that you can clearly see is not the kind of player that is experienced enough to read the game like that. I am a mediocre player at best so some of this stuff might just be a skill issue that feels like i am getting ratioed by the lobby connection, but even i can tell when things are not quite how they are suppose to be.

Edytowany przez użytkownika kime: 10/1/2024 5:58:57 AMThe lagging in PVP right now is the worst I have ever seen, the games are just unplayable. I just leave the games if my hits fail to register or I am being killed repeatedly after I go behind cover. No reason to play such games as the players I see on my screen are not in synch with their 'real' position on the game servers

1 OdpowiedźThat's what happens when you play a game that uses ancient technology like peer2peer servers lol

P2P = Potato-2-Potato 🤔 Ease Springs! 🫡

Bungie is about 20 years behind in terms of servers, but they are who they are, they're never going to change. Marathon is probably going to have the same issues, thankfully, I won't experience them.

1 OdpowiedźThey don’t give a flying fk dude. They got your money after that they just don’t fking care. Not even a little bit. They will lie and lie about some matchmaking bullshit over and over and over again. But at the end of the day they know what it will take to fix the disgusting mess and will absolutely NOT invest in any kind of decent fix because they don’t give a fk if it’s frustrating for their players. It’s all a big scummy bullshit lie. THEY DONT FKING GIVE A -blam!-!!!

10 OdpowiedziWho are Bungie suppose to blame, it’s peer to peer? It is directly as result of the players connection.

1 Odpowiedźjust rage quit a match after shooting a guy 8 times with an ace and he kills me with one health. I'm not touching pvp until they fix this. These connection are completely unacceptable. Sony needs to clean house and restart if this game is to survive.

I agree with you 100%. That being said, the laggy latency has been in PVP for as long as I can remember. It makes a huge difference in your pvp experience. I will/would never take pvp in this game seriously. And now between the bad servers and the cheating, you’re just asking for a bad time. Good luck

They have stated more than once. That PvP it’s able to be generate income. So there investment will always be on the general kindness of bungie to invest into. They have also stated destiny will never go to a sever base game. It will remain pir to pir. Dedicate service will arrive with marathon. Destiny pvp is not there priority. Have a great one

Edytowany przez użytkownika Franco-Nevada: 9/29/2024 5:00:49 AMYep, it's bad. Earlier this year I went flawless in 7 straight matches. Something changed and I haven't been able to go flawless for months now. Generally switch to competitive crucible when Trials is running just hoping for some matches that are at least playable. I'm sure cross-play was mandated by the ever shrinking player pool.
