I believe the biggest issue with this game is that Bungie does not respect the players time spent playing this game.
Why have level on the artifact, when you are capped for pretty much every activity. Or -5 in some.
Why grind for weapons that are .00001% better than the ones i already have.
Why grind armor when it drops low stats. Why grind exotic when they are easy to get.
Farm gms and never get the perks you want on the nightfall weapon.
Play comp and win 2 games and lose 2 games. end up with less points than when i started. Why would i bother.
There are many more example but overall. Its feels like we play and we make no progress apart from story progress and beat the raids. There is no reward for playing a lot. You either get lucky on drops or it takes forever to get what you want.
This has become more apparent as I’ve playing the first descendant more. Its not a better game than destiny but at least the more i play, the stronger i get. I see the progress i make everyday.

Actually, it's obviously the new game director that is the biggest issue with the game. The man is clueless. He only listens to the feedback he agrees with and has done nothing to improve the mess he made with TFS QoL changes. You want to go broke quickly? Disenfranchise the largest part of your playerbase and then narrow cast all your changes towards a .05% minority.

The biggest issue with destiny is bungle

I agree with you, only my major gripe with the game is the level of difficulty where it should not be an issue! They Are Not Dolls! Triumph is the example. So I go to Zephyer Concourse to "tend bar" to get the action figure. Should be pretty straight forward. NOT! As I do my kills and progress to where I think I am almost done either a Malignant Wyvern and others show up or its like the mission ends and says restart. I restart and the same thing keeps happening over again. Yes I have watched Esoterrick and Ebontis and a few others and when they do it they do not have the enemy concentrations I get nor do they have the kind of enemies I get. The Dolls thing is a gimme and should be relatively easy to do as they show in their videos. Not the case for all of them. What's up Bungie?

1 OdpowiedźI've played other grindy games before, but the difference with D2 is the so-called RNG, with other games you can engage with the grind and eventually achieve your goals, but with this game you may never get there.

2 OdpowiedziOverleveling should exist. I don't know why they thought making the game difficult through artificial means was a good idea. Wish we had mechanics that determined difficulty.

1 OdpowiedźThe game is structured around a gambling addiction system pretty sure their was a whole discussion and articles about it some time ago but in practice it seems right. I played all the time got fed up getting nothing had a 2 month break first few activities exotics and catalysts I didn't have were thrown at me then when back to shitty after a week bk

Do you mean like the added levels of "power grind"? I agree that this business wastes a gamer's time, but their main problem is that they have never designed a progression system. So they rely on all the BS about gaming to keep people running on that hamster wheel. That's not a developer, that is a cheap lazy business.

1 OdpowiedźYeah light levels are the stupidest now that they've ever been. Simultaneously useless and mandatory. What a paradox. You need to grind power just so you can be not quite under level enough that the activity is impossible. But then you grind all that power to always be weaker than the enemies. Brilliant.

Biggest issues with Destiny… P2P / game engine needs to upgrade from steam to warp drive / needs dedicated regional servers / separate PvP from PvE / stop upsetting customers - old and potential new ones / raise the ceiling NOT the floor / bring back the creative spark with new, fresh content / etc… The single biggest issue with Destiny - BHQ 🧐 Sony needs to get a grip…if they want to retain what’s left of a rapidly shrinking player base of (mostly) reasonable Guardians. 👈👈 Ease Springs! 🙄

3 OdpowiedziI logged in a few days ago out of curiosity. Went to check out Xur. I only had 20 coins. Before they stole all my shards, I could have purchased anything I wanted from Xur. Shards I earned playing the game for 1000s of hours. Figured wth, I'll go earn some coins. I went to play Dares of Eternity, that can be quick & fun. Lo & behold that's not how to earn Strange Coins any longer Logged off. FU Bungie.

4 OdpowiedziThis game's biggest issue and bungie themselves have said it. New players are not staying because of how difficult certain activities are. when those said players give their opinion they are met with Good get, shut up casual, or You entitled Karen. FF14 which last I knew was the top MMO has a huge feature that Destiny needs(a catch-up mechanic). The past endgame activities need to be dumbed down every year at the beginning of a new launch cycle(grandmasters being one of the exceptions). This would serve 2 purposes. 1: Bungie could crank the difficulty & 2nd: Most people wouldn't care because they know in a year they can have fun in there. Example: remove the timer in Salvations edge after a year

Edytowany przez użytkownika The Hermit IX: 9/29/2024 12:00:00 AMThe biggest issues in D2 are the servers, the anti cheat and the player base that’s always crying about everything and can’t agree on anything. They can fix the first two things by moving D2 to the dedicated servers and anti cheat they have for Marathon. It’s no easy task to move onto a new server and the game would most likely shutdown for a month but it would solve many issues. Better anti cheat coupled with the legal action they continue to bring forward against companies that offer cheats will help. With that said every game deals with cheaters but it can be a lot better than it is now. The players all want different things so they will never make everyone happy. Harder content versus easier content, SBMM versus CBMM, Grind versus FOMO are just a few examples of the divide with the community so Bungie has to have a vision and stick to it. Ignoring the peanut gallery is in the best interest of D2s overall health and longevity. Last but not least is something I see the new director already doing. He shaking things up and creating the game in his vision so it’s more friendly for newbs, satisfies the hardcore players and gives casuals options to be in the hunt for decent gear without sinking tons of time into playing. I’m curious to see where Tysons Vision takes D2. One thing that’s abundantly clear to me as a player is that he has the sack to make changes he feels will better the game. I’m looking forward to playing his changes next year and see where they go.

Exactly. Bungie eventually power creeps everything into a corner anyways. I.E. Rampage to Desperate Measures. Just the same thing with a different name. Even weapons nowadays. I.E. Eye of Sol to Defiance of Yasmine to Eye of Sol 4.0. Power creep, DCV. It’s all just making us grind for the same thing, but with worse perks and slightly better stats.

4 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Hyperstorm76: 9/28/2024 7:29:41 AMFor me it's the ridiculous decision to only allow players to equip only one exotic armour and weapon. Oh yeah, and "mongoose".

I was playing the corrupted strike and right after i got up to killing tally times three, someone passed me the ball to throw at sedia, removing my killing tally buff. effectively neutering me right then and there. very sad. -1/10 Every portal in onslaught I have to close my eyes before entering because it is way too bright. maybe i need to wear sunglasses when playing this game.

I don't understand why you'd WANT a game to be more tedious

1 OdpowiedźWhat could bungie give us in the current sandbox that you'd feel "respects our time"?
