Greetings Folks and Bungie,
In my attempt to secure an Exotic Class item I found the "raid "symbols presenting a challenge I had not taken into account or anticipated These symbols are small, not bright, blurred by the artifacts of the encounters and shaded by the darkness of the area. I became exhausted just trying to see these symbols.
It is a lot to be challenged by darkness, time and the ever so streams of enemies that you need to put to rest as part of need to reveal these images/symbols, knowing the agreed upon name of symbols` most of all having the necessary communications with the other guardian in the matter.
To see or not to see, I am one of those folks who is at the age of diminishing returns and my poor sight is of an immense challenge to me. I spend a considerable among of time in front of LED/LCD screens and when it comes to gaming adjusting graphics is one of those things where balance is hard to obtain in varying gaming areas and situations. I do game on Console and PC, each presents a unique graphics challenge based on the gaming environment. I could remember in an earlier time when I transitioned from PS2 to a PS3 while on D1 and could now appreciate the glowing faces of Hive characters.
I once heard a guardian recommend a Sniper Rifle as a mechanism to see these raid symbols, I found this to be highly impractical, should I say more. I can’t squint in the dark and hope to see more. I have witnessed many changes in the game, some I thought it to be the way it is meant to be, to later learn that it was an error or gamers did not like the challenge or outcome, on another note you Bungie made a change to improve gaming experience.
Many folks may not understand the problem of sight because they are not there yet. It is not an impairment that shies away from age, anyone is vulnerable. I am seeking and asking that these symbols be less challenging to sight. They should be easier to see. Sight has variables from person to person, however I am certain you could get this right.
