I personally want to see Bungie fail.
Honestly as a customer of the company from way back as Marathon; you can say I have seen the many versions of Bungie. Where they stand now is probably there worst. Not only is the content at a low but where they are as a company is just jaw dropping and now they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Fans who are leaving or stay regardless of there disapproval still speaks out unhappy customers. Then on the other side a global monster of a company just waiting to pounce as soon as the Bungie drops the ball. If they do I’m sure they’ll just take the IPs and drop Bungie. At least that’s what I would do.
You may be wondering why I want to see Bungie fail. Well; I believe that Bungie could be an example to other companies. Showing them eventually your abuse of the customer will eventually come back at you. Much like now with Pokémon and Palworld. To add im also tired of the BS in the game. I was once in love with the game and maybe that’s why I have stuck around way longer than I should. They do say love is blind and I was completely blindfolded for so long but, recently I have been ticked by small things in this game and I’ve tried to overlook them but it’s now just to stacked to control my feelings back. From lag to the game not registering actions that are dictated through its world rules. I mean how many times have you shot someone with a shotgun that’s through deep on someone only for the game to say you missed or not enough damaged done. Or getting killed/ getting a kill from behind walls. Heck even runs of solo anything only to be stopped by dumb small glitches.
All these problems that they have let pile up instead of a more rapid response. I’m sure Bungie employees probably think they are doing there best on such thing but frankly it’s just not enough. Never was. I wish I could say different but I’m letting them get a free pass anymore. I’m probably just rambling in this post and if so, I’m sorry but I had to get some of my anger out before I do something I’ll regret.
Wow this is a -blam!- post. Oh well.

Yes, I agree; this game constantly does the same thing w/ the grinding gate Fest & time gated rewards. I hope Bungie files chapter 7/11 bankruptcy so they're out of business and gets defunct.

3 OdpowiedziThey need to fail and hit rock bottom, They've been carried by publishers way too long that have had to bail them out of whatever mess time and time again. Developers abuse their customers because the customer allows it. I'm not saying this is right, but if the customer stops allowing it this means the developers have to make changes. Notice the amount of damage control that has been taking place in the last 3 months, more so than they ever have in years throwing character customization out there after 9 years of request? I'm sure knowing they have to sell FS the things they are doing to try to please the community are done out of the kindness of their heart.

Destiny will die with final shape and Marathon is in a hardcore PvP space that will be DOA for the time and money invested.

1 OdpowiedźTheres absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to see a formerly great company that turned into a capitalistic ####-show, fail. But there have been tons and tons of "examples" of devs like Bungie who treated their loyal paying customers like -blam!- and literally scammed them. Most of them are still a thing and nothing meaningful happened to them. The ones who did go down are already forgotten and their downfall had next to no meaningful impact on other companies behavior. Its humanity we are talking about here. Greed will always be a main habit of a majority of people. Was about time that it took over and entirely ruined gaming aswell. We had a nice "niche" for quite a while. But ever since i wanna say 2016/2017, greed has taken over gaming ultimately. And theres no going back because now all these companies are used to absurd profit with next to no effort by them in exchange. MTX's over quality content. Thats what will be the standard now. We are just disappointed that Bungie went the route as soon and as aggessively as they did...

I remember when Microsoft basically locked bungie in a basement and told them don't come out til it's done, that's when we got the original Halo. Now they wouldn't dream of putting in overtime and God forbid they "over-deliver." The results speak for themselves.

If you’re hoping for them to fail and still playing the game you probably should be getting your head examined. You couldn’t pay me to play a game I hate or makes me miserable, let alone spend money on it. Yet here we are with portion of the community that’s constantly upset and trying to jam a square peg into a round hole. It’s a game. A hobby. Not a life choice. It’s beyond absurd to me that you or anyone would want to see people lose their jobs because you’re having a meltdown over a game.

Bungie isn't going to be an effigy for other studios. Such a baseless and idiotic premise to begin with. I get being upset with quality diminishing, because it absolutely has, but to use that to say you want a company to fail, which would in turn mean hundreds of more people losing their jobs, all because you don't like a GD VIDEO GAME...? I don't even know what the appropriate word for this steaming pile of dog crap is. Pathetic, childish, and petulant all come to mind. Sounds like you needed a therapy session more than a trip to the forums.

11 OdpowiedziSince you mentioned Palworld, I'm not even sure why this game has blown up like it has. After reaching level 25 in like 5 hours, I can't even find a reason to keep playing. It's not a waste of money, and it's not complete garbage, but it IS the most overrated popular game on Steam right now.
