The only thing I've had to do now with the changes is collect engrams before a new season or new expansion. It feels like these are the last days of Destiny 2. I'll finish the story, then I'm out, unless Bungie creates a miracle. 😔

It's like going to fast food restaurants hoping the menu has changed, and as usual, you spend your time looking things over and realize 99.99% off the menu is the same meals you have seen for 30+ years. I don't prep anymore haven't since shitefall so I just have a go if it bores me I don't bother anymore after that but I usually wait the 5 or 6 weeks if it's crap and just do all the narrative stuff done in 1 sitting

I used to play this game a lot. I would make a lot of time to grind for stuff in D1 and some D2. You can almost call it an addiction. But crappy RNG and wasting my time trying to get god rolls in D1 only to have either the guns ruined or special ammo nerfed in pvp before I got them. Or wasting time grinding for a god roll eyasluna in d1 and not getting it at all left me salty and felt like I wasted my time. Then I grinded for the broadsword only for it to not even be good was the final nail in that coffin. I do grind still from time to time but nothing over an hour or sometimes not even 30 minutes. I get tired and bored. You can say Bungie cured me from that addiction just by being Bungie. Most of the things in this game end up being disappointing. The last thing I remember getting excited about was D1 year 1 when gally dropped for me after getting -blam!- on in salvage lol. What kept me coming back was their builds and I did grind some lost sectors for the exotics. But now with these upcoming changes I think this might be it for me. If builds are going to be terrible then exotics in lost sectors need a serious huge drop rate buff since builds will be terrible.

4 OdpowiedziEdited from a previous post I made. I mainly play PVP. 1. I shrugged my shoulders at sunsetting. 2. I played regardless of CBMM or SBMM. 3. I don’t care about vault space. 4. I didn’t care about Lightfall campaign sucking. I gave up on Destiny story telling years ago. The once a week repeat mission and talk to a hologram has been nauseating, and my expectations couldn’t be lower. 5. That Bungie laid off its employees is Bungie’s business, not mine. 6. I’ve played in every meta and didn’t care what was broken or not. 7. I don’t even care if crucible drops are nonexistent. I’m just here to play the game. 8. I don’t even care about loot because how many different guns are there really? Each season it’s just the same guns reskinned and some new perks. Any player could use guns from a year or two ago and just do fine. 9. I have purchased every D1/2 game and expansion at the time of release. I buy D2 boots, hoodies, and raid jackets. I am literally one of the easiest demographics to keep happy. I don’t care about any of the above listed issues with the game because, in the end, it’s just a video game. BUT, I’m putting down the controller after the current season. Combining multiple crucible game modes into a single node on a weekly rotation is absurd. I want and should be able to choose the game modes I want to play, when I want to play them. Not have them randomly shoveled down my throat, or have to look at a calendar to figure out when the game mode I want to play is available. For example, I play both control and clash, and it sucked when both game modes were in a single node and randomly chosen. Bungie had to undo that decision. Why would you double down on that bulls41t, with gimmick game modes? Rift in IB and Comp sucked. I found Eruption IB loathsome …. I’m out. I’m not going to have game modes forced upon me based on a weekly rotation and have to wait weeks to play the game modes I actually enjoy. I’m only one customer, but the fact that you managed to alienate someone like me who didn’t care about so many of the other issues that the D2 community took umbrage with speaks volumes as to how divorced from reality Bungie is as to what players want. Thank you very much for making the decision to quit so easy for me. I need to sleep more anyhow.

4 OdpowiedziLess than 1% of players are here, you playing or not playing is meaningless. No one will miss you. So go ahead and uninstall the game...but before you do dismantle everything in your vault, then delete all three of your characters, then uninstall. I'll check back on your account next season to see if you're a person of integrity or just another living in your parent's basement troll.

This game has gone lets nerf everything they have no clue take away fun and add chores to a game idiots hahaha. Diablo 4 is way better for fun and thats what I have been play for the past 2 weeks and love it.

I know a guy that does this regularly because he has a small hard drive. He can still come back once in a while to have some fun. As it turns out, there is a medium between only playing this game and never playing this game.
