So besides the Exotic changes.. which were fine.
All I read was.. PvP made us nerf alot of things.. Suspending Champions is too strong so you now have 3 seconds and Strand itself is not meant to have fun...so we made changes to that as well.

8 OdpowiedziLol, strand didn't get nerfed because of pvp It got nerfed cause it took any urgency from any part of the pve game. While the nerfs are steep, I kinda get it from a design viewpoint. Anyway, to clarify - strand nerfs we're nothing to do with pvp.

1 OdpowiedźTired of the bungo pole riders saying "it was 12 seconds". Haha. That's using the build to the max. Most casual builds were just using the 7 second window. Which it should be. 7 seconds....not 4 or 3. Actually 3 more than the 4 they are saying. That's a joke. By time you switch your weapons half that time is up. As I said, they need to hang it up after Final Shape. Even the content creators are echoing that opinion. They don't care about the players.

Sold DLC's with these great subclasses...only to nerf them later after having our money.

Look, we all know how this goes. Bungie introduces a new subclass, locks it behind an expansion, makes it strong and fun, turns it into a dry-rotted pool noodle after the expansion sales slow way down.

Arc Titan was nerfed for PVP. Everything else was PVE.

2 OdpowiedziAnd these nerfs are often because of Trials of Osiris, a niche game mode within the Crucible many players don't even bother with. It's not even the general Crucible. You sure don't see a lot of titans in quickplay. I've seen many matches over the years with just 2-4 titans out of 12 players.

Little sidenote: You could keep any unit of choice (apart from bosses) in a permasuspend on titan. It was more than a little stupid (and likely intended).

pvp nerfed only tower barricade nothing more, and suspend inside pvp was broken, how can you think that blocking mobs for 12 seconds so you can go afk and eat is balanced

1 OdpowiedźSuspend was already revealed to have a nerf planned, because yeah, 12 seconds of an enemy becoming a static object is pretty broken, same applies to 8 seconds to a champion Now it should match champion stun length, which makes it on par with everything else that stuns. Thread of generation and thread of mind are super broken, being must haves for several builds due to how broken they are. The only other thing I see that can be seen as a nerf is the Towering Barricade, which doesn't count because it is getting more Damage resist in PvE, so it will be as nothing happened.

I think the big issue is barricades kinda struggle in pve where the only use is generally reviving especially in endgame where barricades break in about 2 hits but this is an overall nerf. And adding dr to the barricade won't change much. Look at Bubble they lowered it's health and made a.i's deal less to compensate but I found on average it broke about 3-5 seconds faster in pve which while not big showed the compensation didn't really matter.

15 OdpowiedziI usually dislike their methods to nerfing things, as they generally destroy things rather than taking incremental steps. But I'll be honest, literally every change was warranted and done with "restraint". Strand suspension was/is wayyyy over tuned. Titan is nasty with AL boots, but more, Hunter could suspend an enemy or group of enemies for a full minute or longer if you chained your abilities properly. Strand completely trivializes any champion related content.
