The players of this game are toxic and SUPER annoying. And they're making people quit this game.

I was cringing the whole time last time I was doing a raid with randoms. Made me never want to do an activity with a mic ever again. And no, this isn’t the first time I ran into annoying toxic players. It’s been pretty consistent unfortunately. I have more fun the more I stay away from this community.

1 OdpowiedźSo the countless server problems is our fault?
-
Agree Casuals have been driven out by bitter addicts and toxic elites
-
Nah, the game just blows.
-
Quite sick of the constant whining from delusional players. Its comical to read posts from 0.5's expecting to go flawless.

4 OdpowiedziYeah, it seems like there is a divide Bungie cannot remedy. Plus, Bungie adds fuel to the fire adding politics and -blam!- to a game that needed neither. Now the Chinese own the game. I'm sure politics will stay, but the "pride" will leave. I have recently played with some really great people on fireteams lately. The nice people use mics, little kids and people that flame here don't, and leave immediately on completion of the mission. If they open their mouths, they lose, but can cower behind keyboards here.

8 OdpowiedziThis is neither an honest nor accurate assessment.

2 OdpowiedziThe two aren’t mutually exclusive. There are toxic players and the game is in a bad place. Both are pushing people away. Plus there are better options out there right now and in the near future. Diablo 4 is good. Remnant 2 comes out next month and Starfield in September. Destiny had better get their shite together or people may not come back.

I could say you're toxic and annoying for posting such drivel, but that'll likely get me banned .... Again 🙄 so I won't say that.

1 OdpowiedźFor a lot of players the game is their identity. It’s obvious with specific emblems and titles. They also get upset when gear they had gotten years ago is made available to new players. The game is fun for me,which is why I’d like dungeon and raid matchmaking. It would be a fun experience even when it fails. I don’t take the game seriously.

It's possible for multiple things to be bad.
The players of this game are toxic and SUPER annoying. And they're making people quit this game.
It's a mix of both, people make posts saying they fed up, and the super fan Bois who live on the forums dogpile telling them to leave One of the other factors is Bungie doesn't really have a support system in place. Epic for example if you encounter a hacker/cheater you can shoot off a support ticket(email) and Support team will get back to you within 24 hours(for me it's normally 15 minutes) They also have a talk to support live function, but I believe that is Ai People complain on the forums and it feels like it falls on deaf ears.

Hmmm yeah there toxicity in the player base but as a whole with the state of the game is more why people are leaving .
-
12 Odpowiedzishut up new lighter. absolutely clueless.

It's the game my guy

3 OdpowiedziBc Bungie breeds toxic behavior. Warframe is similar and way less toxic.
-
6 OdpowiedziTwo things can be true at once.

You just described every game that has a multiplayer component.

3 OdpowiedziIt's the boring, repetitive, reskinned content that is making people quit the game.
-
I quit raids and mic content, there would always be either someone who overreacted to every little mistake or someone unbearably annoying.
-
Some players in this game are toxic and super annoying, that's for sure. However, this doesn't mean that Destiny -as a game- doesn't have problems and those are making people quit the game.
-
Hmm🤔. Only people I come across are rage quitters who message me because of PvP when I win a match.
-
Yes and no.
