Destiny has been trashed by laziness, greed and a lack of care for its gamerbase
Cant even be arsed writing much here so i will be brief
Since coming back to destiny for another go i was initially impressed, but as time has gone on, not only was the Lightfall storyline absolute trash and a kick in the face to all players, old and new [see My Name Is Byf], but the disgusting pay2win and paywall activities of Destiny are even more abhorrent, what an absolute kick in the nuts to anyone who has ever paid out to play this game
we the playerbase are being screwed over too much, dungeons locked behind silver purchases [keys], Guardians Ranks requiring Dungeon completions
Then there's the constant reskins of everything, no new anything really, not even decent storylines, no real new maps or modes on any p2p activity and all this adds up to Bungie not giving one tiny -blam!- about any of us, how sad and absolutely pathetic, so blatant and disenchanting
Ive tried, like many others, to get past things, but this is too much, we are not cash cows, or stupid idiots who will just pay more because Bunghole want us to
I for one am deleting my game yet again now in total disgust, no coming back this time
as if this world isnt screwed up enough, you have to mess with our entertainment too, shame on you bunghole

2 OdpowiedziSince TWQ it’s been blatantly obvious that Bungie has lost their passion for this franchise. I truly hope either Bungie/Sony restructure the management or Sony take the IP away from Bungie and gives it to a studio that ACTUALLY WANTS TO MAKE DESTINY.

Normally play only Destiny unless i’m working out of town but after a few weeks of lightfail I purchased Re4 remake and GOW Ragnarok. First new games (non destiny) i’ve purchased in a while. Both games delivered beyond my hopes. Lightfail left me feeling completely ripped off! Different years bungie has dropped the ball but usually fixes it during seasons. I don’t think they can after Lightfail. I completed a new game Re4 remake professional run in four hours but can’t solo legendary Avalon past halfway. bullet sponge baddies are annoying not fun on new planet! I’m enjoying my 6th new game plus GOW Ragnarok after platinum trophy still finding it fun. The writing alone is worth playing it. I still can’t believe I spent 100 bucks on lightfail. I usually play every season ( if not working out of town for months) until next season and wait like a kid on christmas night. Bungie please make your game fun again for me so I can come back and not feel ripped off!

2 OdpowiedziPlayed for many years, quit this game probably a month or so ago, haven’t touched it and feel so much better for experiencing plenty of better games. No plans to return next season or really ever, and I’m sure there are many other people like me. Bungie are incredible at marketing and drawing people back into the game by completely overhyping the laziest content, it’s a massive disappointment 9 times out of 10, at least for those of us who have played this game for a long time. Sometimes things really just have run their course for some people. It’s evident Bungie only care about money and the morale of their player base has been a complete after thought for a while now. It’s sad but true. Hope you also find another game you enjoy as much, if not more.

Think how much detail oriented must have been the effort to make that happen. Lazy, i think not Greed, hardly, could have had the exact effect on me even if i took the free version Lack of care, you must be blind o_O i think it's safe to say i disagree with your title

8 OdpowiedziHave an upvote. I’m pretty disenchanted with the state of the franchise as well. That’s why I’m not playing season 21 whatsoever. I never bought it and won’t be buying it. I’ll come here to the forum and see how the season is received and immerse myself in Diablo IV.

We all know this. Game is completely empty and devoid of soul. Just a waste of time and money. Not worth it. Not the same game anymore. I know, I’ve been here, and it’s not the same game anymore. This is not the same game when Activision was still here. Activision bailed out and dumped this game in the trash. So yeah, that’s why you feel this, like it’s trash. Because it is now. It was a good run, I gave like.. 10 years(?) of my life to this game, but bungie clearly just doesn't want it or care anymore. Why should we care then? I'm tired, I don't have time for the whiplash and constant back and forth bullshít they keep throwing out. It's not worth it anymore. Personally, Armored Core drops on my bday, so I'll be slapping the shít outta that for a long time going forward
