It gets to a point where if your RNG is going to keep bending me over, the least you could do is allow me to use raid spoils to just buy the damn thing. It only took me 30 in D1 and here it is D2 your RNG has decided to -blam!- me in each and every way possible. I just completed with a kid doing it for their FIRST -blam!- time and they got it but me at 50+, still no vex.
EDIT: LITERALLY AFTER I POSTED THIS, VEX DROPPED. I SWEAR THEY TAPPING OUR DAMN COMMUNICATION OR SOMETHING CAUSE THERE’S NO -blam!- WAY 🤨

6 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika PapaSohan: 1/16/2023 3:42:06 PMTook me a full season and a half of doing 3 clears every single week to finally get vex. I also don't have: Thousand Voices Collective Obligation Touch of Malice I have close to 100 clears combined for all three of those raids and I don't have the raid exotic for any of them. I have decided not to play Bungie's bull -blam!- hamster wheel game for those exotics and have stopped trying altogether. I either get them during my normal raid clears while I am farming the other weapons and getting my red borders or I don't get them at all. There absolutely has to be bad luck protection for the raid exotics. It simply is stupid that some people get them their first clear and other have 100+ clears and don't have it. 25 clears should be guaranteed drop... or it's buyable with a full stack of spoils after 25 clears. Edit: to add, many of my clan members have got 3, 4, or 5 duplicate exotic drops while running these raids with me. Also doesn't make sense that they are getting so many duplicate drops while I sit here without a single one and there's no way to transfer end of raid loot.

2 OdpowiedziJust so you know, Vex is amazing. I have tried so many weapons in Master Duality, and they all tickled enemies (Fatebringer, Palidrome, Trustee, Agers Scepter, etc etc). Switch to Vex, notice a HUGE difference. Try it in the hardest endgame content like GMs or Master Dungeons and you'll see why Bungie said they want to leave Vex as prized possession that is hard to get instead of nerfing it. For the "nerf" they did do, they simply lowered aim assist by 25%. But two Fusion Rifle Targetting Mods on your helmet and 2 Unflinching Mods on your chest, go into Crucible, thank me later. I honestly can't think of a single weapon in Crucible I dislike going against cause at .7 of a second ttk, as long as you can land all your shots you'll win the fight. For perspective DMT is 1 second and pulses are almost all 1.2 second. Then when there is solar burn on the Nightfall (like this weeks) omg.

7 OdpowiedziI think all raid exotics should be purchasable for spoils. It takes like some 10-15 raids worth of them to buy one right? That's enough for any exotic. I mean, have them still be random drops so you can still technically "get it on your first run" because that's always a fun brag, but if not, you know, the whole spoils thingy.

3 Odpowiedzi84 Crota hard modes, 52 of them solo, in D1 to get the crux to drop in order to upgrade Eidolon Ally into Necrochasm. I know your pain.
-
You're right, it shouldn't. Which is why it only took me 21
-
2 OdpowiedziComplete the raid title = get the exotic IMO
-
I got every raid exotic except touch in ~20 clears. I’m hoping I get the lightfall one fast as well, as I believe one of the devs said it was their new favorite weapon.
-
4 Odpowiedzi60 clears of DSC for EoT here. Can’t be bothered to go back in for any red borders at this point. There should be some knock out system with the triumphs just for this situation. If you’re RNG sucks and you have proved that you have mastered the raid you should get the damn weapon.

7 OdpowiedziApproaching 70 clears on KF with no ToM. 🥲
-
5 OdpowiedziIt's not random, the more you play smaller the chance you get it, I've seen too many new lights getting it the first time they ever raid, players who just joined the game this season getting multiple drops, while the hamsters teaching them have no lucky after 30 You do them credit by calling it Bad RNG at this point, game it's an arbitrary mobile game lottery
-
People discovering RNG and how unlucky they can be is never not a little funny.

1 OdpowiedźVault of Glass, should have been rotated out and replaced with Scourge of the Past, Crown of Sorrows, or Eater of Worlds, and then the Vex should have been placed in the Monument To Lost Lights, where it belongs.
-
2 OdpowiedziAmen to that! I lost the will to live running DSC trying to get the rocket launcher. In the region of 60 clears i think and still no exotic.

Ive had 4 touch of malice drop for me while helping them. This is why I will never chase a raid exotic. If it drops great , if not I don’t care.

2 OdpowiedziTook me 50 clears to get vex and really killed my desire to raid.
-
Agreed. That’s ridiculous. I have a friend who got Vex twice within ten runs, eyes of tomorrow on the third run, collective obligation on the second, thousand voices on the third, and touch of malice on the fourth. The amount of raids you run doesn’t matter or factor in. It’s just RNG . Some folks have it and some don’t. This whole you got to put your time in doesn’t make any since, and isn’t a valid argument. Even with the increase in drop rates people still aren’t getting them to drop. I’ve pretty much just given up on the raid exotics as a whole. Granted I’ve not done as many as some. But they say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Plus the group I raided with were all adults with jobs, and family responsibilities. So raiding three times a week was not always a possibility. Before some of y’all say there is lfg, I’m not going down that road. I mean folks can’t even equip mods for strikes and heist battle grounds. There are four other people in my group, like myself that have quit raiding all together. Two of them don’t even play destiny anymore. The funny thing is that the guy that has gotten all of them , doesn’t use any of them. I see Vex used in pvp from time to time and that’s it. That’s just my two cents from a D1 beta player.

13 OdpowiedziYeah it shouldn't. Having to chase raid exotics made it a chore instead of fun. I don't raid as much because of this sadly.
-
2 OdpowiedziOh let me tell you, that's a subjective thought of you. Bungie will find 200 reasons why you still dont have the raid exo. Their rng algorythm is literally rigged to make hardcore players play for as long as possible before the drop. I will almost guarantee you, if you were to entirely stop playing AND logging into the game for 3-6 months, then come back and play vog ONCE, you will get vex. Bungie has literally been scamming us with their rigged rng that favors new/returning players with gratification drops to get them addicted and get them to buy the exo ornament from the shop. They know that people like you and me will grind for as long as its needed anyways to get the exo thats why playing much gives their algorythm the freedom of not giving you a quick reward. The explanation is literally that simple. And if you don't believe me, you obviously don't have to. My 10k hours of experience in the game combined with analyzing lfg players "luck" combined with their playtime behavior speaks for itself tho. And why does Bungie desperately want you to suffer for this long you may ask? High player engagement numbers. Satisfying their investors for a high number of monthly users and overall playtime makes them money. It's as easy as that.

buy something in eververese then try.
-
Dont worry it will take bungie a few more years to give a damn

-
9 OdpowiedziYou can just farm atheon cp it when it's the weekly raid. It's gotta be one of the easier things to grind since you don't need to do the whole raid for the drop.
-
3 Solutions imo 1 - After 20 full clears, it's almost guaranteed. 2 - Guaranteed drop after completing the Triumph Seal. 3 - Lengthy Quest

Edytowany przez użytkownika Blankman007: 1/16/2023 5:03:16 PMVex took me 56, by far the worst. 1000 voices- 30-something runs. Eyes- 20-something runs. Heartshadow- in the teens. Tarrabah- in the teens. Collective obligation was 6 or 7. Hierarchy of needs- 1st try :) Seems like the more I want the exotic, the longer it takes. ;)

I've often expressed that Bungie could implement a system akin to the newer dungeons in which triumphs completed would increase the drop rate for the exotic.
