WHY is Tommy's Matchbook NOT an smg??? it has the stats of an smg, the fire rate of an smg, IT IS BASED ON A REAL SMG the bolt is on top like all other smgs. WHY

Without a doubt, the worst mistake Bungie made was deciding to adopt a hybrid P2P server model. Dedicated servers would have allowed this game to be so much more and would have attracted (and maybe kept) the more competitive focused players. Whoever got kickbacks from whatever company to go with this model, I hope you stub your toe every day forever

2 OdpowiedziMaybe because the original Tommy gun concept in 1915 was to create a fully automatic rifle (auto rifle). Only when the first guns were commercialized, in 1919, was the archetype renamed sub-machine gun. 🤷♂️

Biggest mistake was overtuning the already overtuned invis hunter.

2 OdpowiedziWouldn't call it their biggest mistake since their actual biggest mistake was them not begging Activision to stay with them lol.
-
2 OdpowiedziNo their biggest mistake is the in air accuracy nerf.

1 OdpowiedźThe biggest mistake bungie ever made was Airborne Effectiveness
-
Biggest mistake was opening up the source code to steam. Which is a rampant platform of hackers. Also completely removing in air accuracy.

I think they made other bigger mistakes.

2 OdpowiedziYou mean other than hiring that fat-nose picker? It is clear as a bell that none of the soyboys at Bungie have even had a weapon (not gun) in thier hands. Too many mistakes, to much Hollywood. A greande launcher that feels like a nerf gun.

6 OdpowiedziI feel it’s between competition (specifically Tarrabah) and synergy (with Actium War Rig). Could be they wanted to give a solar auto rifle option. Yeah idk, I think it’d work fine as a 900smg. But I’d rather just AWR be buffed to work with all standard primaries. Hardly Bungie’s BIGGEST mistake though.
buff Tommy’s
Because that's how they keep it balanced. Smgs for some reason are better than ARs in destiny so to make it balanced justvmake it an AR and it will always be average but has neat perk. They don't want anymore tarrbahs running around.

...was convincing the player base it didn't exist. How do you shoot Oryx in the back, Agent Cujon? ....what if you miss?

Oh, I love the gun. Should use it more tho =/ I've noticed that Season after Season we get more and more Weapons, but I end up using only the same 4-5 most efficient for basically almost everything...

Its magazine and intended ranges way outmatch those of an smg. Plus, if you need a high-powered smg, use tarrabah.

I think it’s meant to feel like an auto rifle that’s similar to suros but also make it feel really unique by making it also seem like a tommygun, if they made it an smg that would ruin the intended feel of the gun
