I'm genuinely curious. If a normal player with a flawed 7 wins could go to the lighthouse. Where you would get your flawless easily. Is it because it would affect your buisness and actually increase the population of trials? Or is it more personal?

10 OdpowiedziI think in general most Flawless players have no problem with lesser skilled players getting loot. Most of them do free carries every weekend to help bad players go flawless. However I think a lot of higher tier players object to the sense of entitlement that some of the lower players have, that they deserve the same rewards without working for it or trying to improve at all.

1 OdpowiedźYou ever play ToO in d1? Players were jumping off the map to help other get to the lighthouse. It was an amazing time.

They’re protecting the last vestige of end game PVP. I enter Trials and I expect tuff sledding. I like the changes being made to other parts of PVP but I understand why PVP based players are protective of it.

People have to accept that there will always be things beyond their reach. Why does it bother you that yah can't get a few adept weapons? Yah can get everything else right? The Trials Adepts are generally great for pvp for the most part. So it shouldn't even be a problem. Games getting easier due to free handouts and items losing value. Why the hell would anyone go flawless if they could just get the free adept loot anyway?
-
1 Odpowiedźits an insult to those who actually dedicated to be good for people to run 100 games and winning 7 of those games to get a reward they need to go flawless
-
1 OdpowiedźNo I'd rather see people in the Playlist. I really think everyone should start out the weekend with a passage that as long as you get 7-9 wins total and once you get those wins you automatically go to the lighthouse. You then turn in that card while in the lighthouse for an adept gun. If you want to play more than you can buy another passage like the ones we have now.

8 OdpowiedziI am genuinely curious, do people really consider the lighthouse prestiges these days?. With the amount of cheating, recovs and carry culture, do people really look at it as some kind of special thing?
-
If you check the trials report all youll see is an activity that has loads of potential but lacks the player count to hit it because sadly it is kept at bay by the usual players that need adept weapons locked behind the flawless pool but complain they don't have fresh meat to play against because they are always against the same teams

Edytowany przez użytkownika FluffyBunnyFeet: 11/29/2022 10:10:10 PMIf you think it's so easy, why do you need them to change the goalposts for you to get it? There's more than enough participation trophies for Trials already.
-
I think they should keep freelance Trials and let you go to the lighthouse after seven wins. Keep adept weapons for people who went flawless.

cause they need to feel special

5 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Sweet Lew 88: 11/29/2022 1:59:40 AMNothing wrong with casuals getting easy loot. Its the casuals that want difficult to earn loot to become easy. Ive never gone flawless, im fine with never owning trials adept loot. Are you apart of the participation trophy generation? Im guessing you want raid loot to drop from public events too? Maybe next time find an easier game that any casual can get all the loot? The reviews are out there.... The game was probably designed like this so people want to improve and earn the gear eventually or not all. Im quite certain that bungie designed it this way, only a small part of the community is to go flawless. If they wanted it to be easier, they probably would have changed it, years ago. Easy to get loot reduces playing time. Bungie wants us to play a bunch.

20 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika CORPERATE COMMANDER: 11/29/2022 10:09:41 PMTotally agree my reply to the people that are against so called casuals haveing a weapon it would be do you agree adept trials and gm weapons should not be allowed in normal crucible and locked to strikes and trials flawless pool ?their answer would be no !!!! adept weapons are better than their normal versions, adepts weapons have better stats ,better mods ,more aim assist ?and do more damage? so if my gun is better than the average players gun even if he's using the exact same as me perks and all just mines adept so il most likely win the exchange. THAT DOESNT SOUND LIKE SKILL GOT ME THE KILL, DOEST SOUND LIKE BALANCE EITHER Hence why I'd say let the adept weapons go to the players that get 7 wins in a day no matter how many losses and let the glow show who's gone flawless since trials is suppose to be about loot yes but MAINLY SKILL so if you have more skill than a blueberry you should not be worried about him or her wielding an adept weapon

4 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika reenry: 11/29/2022 4:22:00 AMI think people confuse trials as a “this should be for everyone game modes.” Which it isnt. Flawless is the GMs for pvp kids. Not everyone will get it and thats okay. The worst idea about flawless gear Ive seen is it should be able to be gotten from bounties. It just removes the flawless aspect of it. Having a Adept Eye of Sol made me feel like a god in WOTM. (bring back explosive scouts in meta pls, i miss my Nameless Midnight)

Honestly, other than cosmetics, there really is no reason to go flawless. A casual player isn’t going to notice the very marginal difference in performance from an adept weapon.
-
2 OdpowiedziDifficulty should not be reduced for everyone or it devalues the accomplishment. Flawless already isn’t that hard, and making it any easier just leaves it meaningless. Imagine if every game just handed out their hardest achievement to any player that asked. It wouldn’t be the hardest achievement anymore and wouldn’t be prestigious in the slightest.
-
3 OdpowiedziIt's meant to be endgame, like a GM. Not for casuals ie: the same way Gm's restrict who can play etc. Business lol

1 OdpowiedźYes. Elitist want make money. That's why they against any changes. They don't have real job, most of their accounts is not main, they cheating with hardware or with software, router connection manipulation and many other thing just to make money.

3 OdpowiedziIt invalidates the reason to play it and it creates the same situation pinnacles did. Pinnacles was fine and only the best had then at one point but casual and average players said it wasn't fair that were locked out of loot which it was fair. I had no problem with how pinnacles was done if you were good in comp and you completed the steps you deserved it. Once they handed out pinnacles for free they became a problem because what was unique ,powerful, and exclusive became common, meta, and caused massive power creep because Bungie caved. Trials only rewards the best which is fair, bungie already made it easier for rewards and even added a flawless pool. Trials is a skill issue and I have come to accept that and that's why the mode is tolerable but not my favorite. I'm not getting adept because of MY skill and same goes for everyone else.
-
8 OdpowiedziTo be fair, someone with a .63 K/D really shouldn't be complaining about trials.
-
10 OdpowiedziBecause they have the most fragile egos in the entire gaming community that's why. Adept weapons aren't any better than their normal version. At least, not any better in a way anyone will notice unless they do experimentations under very specific circumstances.
-
3 OdpowiedziCause it's the only form of control and power they have cause their parents divorced when they were younger.

5 OdpowiedziSome people have a sad need to feel superior, others make money playing and need the status to build an audience. A game played for fun and relaxation isn't the place to reward only the best of the best and leave most of the population locked out of top-level guns and armor. If some players want rewards only a few can ever get, let them play against each other and only be able to use those rewards against each other. It makes no sense to give the best players the best weapons if they are only going to use them to make average players miserable. The rest of us can have fun and still have a reasonable challenge without being stomped into the dirt every time we play pvp.
-
20 OdpowiedziBecause theres very little left in this game to reward those who take the time to get better. If theres nothing to reward the people who get better, theres no reason to get better. If theres no reason to get better, why bother playing at all? Thats my mindset at least.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Verke0: 11/29/2022 12:33:36 PMIts all about that dopamine shot. Going flawless should mean something. If it was given away like a french -blam!-, it would mean nothing
