Just let people do dps however they want.
Shadebinders can damage just fine.

That's your opinion, I'm going to disagree there. There's definitely shadebinder techniques that allow for teamwide bonus damage in a dps scenario.

I look at each subclass’ abilities and see at least some damage output on all except stasis. Stasis abilities are what they are. I suppose I would simply prefer having 3 guardians all capable of damage that isn’t relying so heavily on ammo drops. I was a shadebinder main for a long time. I stumbled on the starfire build and never went back. It’s hard to overstate how much more manageable the end game has gotten since I switched. Edit: I’m not suggesting everybody needs to be running starfire.
