In an interview on Crucible Radio with John and one other weapons guy from Bungie the two programmers STATED that Aggressive Frame weapons had hi-cal intrinsically.
This interview is still freely available for anyone to listen to on YouTube, iTunes etc etc etc.
So Dear Bungie, a more proper answer to “Do Aggressives have hi-cal baked in?”
must surely be something like;
“They used to but they don’t anymore”

Between vague descriptions and confusing game mechanics, Destiny 2 has a real problem with players misunderstanding how perks and weapons work. I really wish Bungie would add a higher level of detail and transparency to perks and weapons. Example: The "Range" stat is misleading. Its not comparable between weapons, and Zoom affects it. Give me the actual in game effective range and aim assist Range of weapons in Meters, and there's no more confusion. Get rid of "Impact", and give me damage numbers for weapons. Show me my HP at a given "Resiliance". Show me what my Rift, Dodge or Barricade cooldown is with my given stats. Drop "Handling" and give me the ADS time, swap time, and stow time of the weapon.

1 OdpowiedźWhat he meant was that they do more flinch because they deal more damage.. Flinch is based on damage per shot.

I think what he meant to say is that Aggressive Frame snipers or just Aggressive Frame weapons in general have higher than normal flinch when you shoot an enemy, if a weapon has High Cal rounds, I believe it just ups the flinch by a little bit.

High cal in D2 is just the attribute of extra flinch. Of high damage weapons deal more flinch based on damage dealt, it’s reasonable to say that high damage weapon frames basically have high cal built into the bullets.

1 OdpowiedźBungie is pretty well known for the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. I'd go so far as to say that even sometimes the right hand doesn't know what it [i]itself [/i]is doing. They make this worse by being intentionally vague with descriptions and trying to hide raw numbers from the players. Don't even get me started on all the number rounding issues.

2 OdpowiedziThis could just as easily have been a case of dumbing down the tech speak by saying it has Hi-cal because effectively it does, but doesn't literally have a hidden perk.
