D2 Vanilla memories.
Anyone else miss the D2 Vanilla campaign? I miss some of those moments with the story campaign transitions, like Zavala throwing up a Titan bubble to protect us from a barrage of projectiles on the old tower. Or jumping from building to building to meet up with Zav, Cayde, and Ikora. Also the farm. Hopefully Lightfall will bring something that feels like that back. What other good moments were there?

i miss 4 v 4 trials of the nine. i miss dual primarys where the stupid one hit kill weapons were locked to heavy I enjoyed crimison doubles I like chilling at the farm over the tower

2 OdpowiedziI miss the whole thing. Meeting Asher on Io was a highlight for me, loved that whole section. It also gave us Za-va-la and Vuvuzela.

Adventures. Ghost scannables. Actual hidden collectibles on Mars. The weapon forge, and little puzzle things on Mercury. Just things that generally made locations a bit more immersive. The rose tinted glasses are on for the story content, the 12 month gaps between, limited weapon selection and perks. But still, jumping into Zavalas bubble, and going on missions with/to rescue the Vanguard was great. One last, and biggest thing. Asher Mir. That dude was a total and utter legend. Favourite character in Destiny, ever 👍

2 OdpowiedziThe farm was honestly one of the most unique places. Because it showed how much we had lost while also revealing how much we had to win back. It’s just a shame that it wasn’t reworked and given a reason to be relevant after the Red War.

Cheesing lost sector chests for tokens during the faction rally Hearing a wizard scream during a mission on Titan and thinking , no it can't be her(it wasn't 😥) Displaying my 1000 Heroic Public Event Completions Looking at a new weapon that had 1 perk, snapshot sights , mind blowing Asking why the Fallen are all purple , and The Cabal turned into hamsters and guinea pigs

any annual release where the antagonist that is hyped up to be super dangerous and powerful is defeated easily in a 4 hour solo campaign and the raid boss is just something random or irrelevant 👎 this is why the d2 narrative will always be convoluted and unserious

1 OdpowiedźIt had a few moments, but it needed to be much longer for any of it to feel important. Like the whole campaign for it was to experience a 'world without light' and we went 1 or 2 missions till we got it back. Or the farm which served a purpose for about 3 hours. Heck it was more important when we had to meet Mithraks there for Zero Hour.
