Mida Multitool Caty
So before I start, I see both sides to this. But I feel like the Mida Caty should be obtainable another way. Not everyone is a PvP god. While i see the “you need skill and not everything can be given to everyone” argument, it would make sense if it was like how Recluse or mountain top used to be. Good weapons for skilled players. But Mida isn’t a meta anymore. I’m sure people love it, but it’s not a S Tier weapon in PvP or PvE. Maybe lower the glory rank it can start dropping? I’ve given up on it but do I make a good point?

I’ve given up on it but do I make a good point?[/quote] Just grind it out…I literally spam my way through crucible with a jotuun, pissing people off - and I’ve got everything I need - 3 stack weapons, catalysts, Guilded iron lord title…just put in the time and find your jam…

I was just thinking about this recently, it all comes back to who cares about fast reloading on a scout. The orb generation is a non issue now, so why bother? If it had volatile rounds from the catalyst then it would be a different story.

1 OdpowiedźIf you make the catalyst easier to obtain, then next thing people will ask for is a change to the catalyst objective. If you're having trouble getting to Fabled, then you'll have trouble getting 200/250 (I forget which it is) precision kills with Mida. I understand your point in a catalyst in "End Game PvP" for a weapon hardly used in said mode is foolish, but, yet, here we are.

It’s not that hard to reach fabled in comp.

And still I managed to get the caty at mythic 3 I believe. I’m not sure if it was dumb luck or what. But I guess if you win enough matches you’ll eventually get up to where you need to be to obtain said caty.

Drop from trials. Second I get the bow roll i want I'll be done. I will never go flawless and I really don't care to. Give me a reason to keep playing that nasty -blam!- hole game mode and I will, otherwise it's just an excuse to get -blam!- every week and I have better things to do.

2 OdpowiedziIt's just no distractions I think, so while I believe it isn't worth being locked behind legend I also believe it isn't worth going for in the first place...unless you're those players that wanna collect all catalysts which don't worry I'm one of those players but I'm willing to just let the mida cat slide.

3 OdpowiedziI'd rather they made the catalyst worth chasing rather than easier to get. As it is, there's no incentive to play comp beyond the seasonal challenge. Now if the catalyst gave Mida firefly, I'd be straight in there.

All cats should be added to the random crucible/strike drop list a year after they come out imo. I dont need the MIDA cat personally as MIDA is easily replaced and outperformed by most legendary scouts these days. When we have solid exotics like ace of spades with a multitude of good perks in one gun, MIDA is left in the dust sadly. I mainly used scouts in D1 and MIDA was my favorite back then. Would like to see a few of my old favorites reworked to be better JADE RABBIT hint hint Bungie

3 OdpowiedziCan't say I even know what the catalyst adds. I got to Mythic I once back before Shadowkeep, and then just kind of got bored with the whole Comp grind and haven't set foot in there since. Is it worth all that?

Pretty much the only reason why comp is being played atm. I'm sure that with the rework the cat will become obtainable elsewhere.

I think it should have a drop chance for both iron banner and trials, with flawless being guaranteed drop. I do think that some catalyst should be tied to certain activities though. I mean mida is a pvp weapon, so it makes sense the catalyst should have a pvp drop source and I believe it requires pvp kills to complete.

1 OdpowiedźBungie already made that catalyst drastically easier to get. It sucks anyway, it only increases the reload speed by like 15%.

Na but it does need a buff to make people actually go in comp and chase it but pvp is in such a god awful state I can't even blame people for not wanting to slog through it. Pretty much every match after about 4k is cheaters anyway.

The last skill wall in the game and people want it gone, this is why comp is DOA every season, the only reward left to gain from it and people want it thrown in to regular strike rewards so they can ‘stamp collect’ every masterwork in the game.

Agreed, no one uses it for anything anymore and it would be nice to have another way to get it.

1 OdpowiedźMost likely the catalyst will be obtainable in a different way since they are re-working the glory system in the next DLC. Honestly I’ve never seen much a reason to go for it. It’s just outlaw on an already fast fun. I do love mida tho

You can get to the minimum threshold to get it to drop by losing 3 matches a week and the bonus glory at reset will get you there alone.
