Title says it all id like to use my weapons ive collected to play all content not be forced to play specific weapons increasing difficulty, lowering dps etc. especially end game content if anything they should stick to champs in gms and not have them in raids. The dfficulty does not get raised by adding champs it just makes things more frustrating especially when you have to rely on others to stun. there was a time when bungie was able to balance this now its just throw a champ in there(like a pothole in the road).

I think Champions in Endgame content can be a good thing. I think back to when they first started added Champions to raids it was a solid addition. But, I agree that they have gone too over board with the Champions in KF. I think it's a balancing thing & we know how Bungie is great at balancing stuff.

Any mechanic which forces me to change gear is broken trash. Imagine having to cycle through weapons to beat Legendary Halo? Lol, nonsense. Give me tankier enemies and take off the barrier garbage.
-
Champs are stale at this point and only exist to force you to mix up your loadout , they need to design more dynamic enemy AI, like they did with Eramis's Lieutenants and the Hive Guardians, imagine if all of the Shadow Legion and all of House Salvation could wield Stasis, not just bosses, then even regular strikes would be more interesting , and content would have real challenge With that said, everyone should know the most efficient ways to kill champions by now, stun and burst damage deletes them, a red bar phalanx is harder to kill , stop complaining and accept them has part of the game already

what about having no champions

Edytowany przez użytkownika IcyHorizons: 9/23/2022 5:36:01 PMI'm okay with Champs in Raids, what I'm not okay with is the spam of them, unstoppables on each side in Totems plus one in the middle, Barrier Knights and Overload Hobgoblins in Warpriest, Barrier in Golgroth (I haven't actually cleared Golgroth on Master because I wanted an extra chance at ToM so I oryx checkpointed) Daughters has Overloads and so does Oryx. This is just insanity, not even Master Vow was THIS bad.

2 OdpowiedziIt makes the raid harder if you think raids are hard enough without champions Im sorry for you

Champions shouldn't exist. Period.

1 OdpowiedźChampions should be removed. They were a stupid edition anyway
-
Just get rid of them as a whole. It was an interesting concept at first, but now it's over done and simply annoying to play around. They don't need to be in the game anymore.
-
I’d rather they just ditch champs altogether and introduce enemy units that are naturally challenging. If the best way they can impose challenge is to suddenly restrict what the player is capable of in any way , sorry not sorry, but they’ve failed at imposing legitimate challenge on some level. Champs would be fine as a mechanic if the options to deal with them weren’t limited. Let us pick what we want to use. I liked it better when the mods went on the weapons. The problem is that it meant sacrificing an actual weapon mod. The solution wasn’t to move the mods to armor. Now it’s even more restricting. The solution was to make it so that every weapon has a champ mod slot and we can put them on whatever we want.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Ferus Lux: 9/22/2022 10:46:03 AMChampions should be exclusive to deez nuts. Remove them and just make new challenging enemies like the Lucent Hive or upcoming Tormentors that I can use any weapon effectively on.
-
They should switch up mechanics and make enemies beefier. Make Hard mode feel a little different, not just champ spam.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Ferus Lux: 9/22/2022 12:22:54 AMI wouldn't even be so mad at the system if they atleast gave every seasonal exotic weapon a baked in champion mod that lets you actually use it effectively in the seasons meta.

2 OdpowiedziCould have added lucent hive to kf but nah. Lazy design with barely functional champions.

13 OdpowiedziIt’s a champion. Stun it. Shoot it. That’s it.

Champions shouldn’t change what you use, they should change how you play. Hive Lightbearers are what Champions should’ve been. They force you to move and aren’t annoying

2 OdpowiedziPlease bungie don't listen to casuals But also domt listen to peoples saying div need a nerf

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Oryx's Slimy Worm: 9/21/2022 2:10:07 AMI dont entirely mind them being in raids, just as long as they arent extremely glitchy like they sometimes are in NF and lost sectors. Totems is usually a nightmare if a teammate accidently stuns him while he comes up from the group - it lock him in an unstunable mode and your forced to just gun him down...

TL:DR I love teriyaki and had some on the salmon I had last night. Highly recommend! I don’t think champions will be a thing much longer. At the very least they’ll get a rework. Those who enjoy master+ level content have been getting screwed over because there is little reason to do master level content. Generally just for titles honestly. I foresee Bungie heavily granting enemies stronger units. The tormentors are for the cabal, the Lucent brood lightbearers for the hive, stasis/darkness imbued fallen, and lastly, the vex, scorn, and taken will likely simply get more units since arguably, in the lore, these would be the three most powerful units as well as the “hardest” to fight in game. Combat frames, new taken, etc. will be a nice addition. I get the purpose of champions, they’re fun to change stuff up. However Bungie is really committing to the power creep of things and I think for right now it’s a good thing because they have made a game that holds retention enough to keep players engaged without leaving so there is little room to change stuff up if people want to lean into getting the new seasonal weapons and such.

4 OdpowiedziChampions are a cancer.

Yes please. The less I see them, the happier I’ll be.

I would have prefered lightbearer spam

It’s ok to have 1 or 2 in there but they spam the fk out of them.
