Destiny 2 has this really loud subset of casuals who sit in patrol all day, come onto the forums, then complain as if they expect to be good at PvP, GMs, and Raids without any effort.
This raid is ENDGAME CONTENT, PvP has a winner and a loser, trials is ENDGAME CONTENT , and GMs are ENDGAME CONTENT.
ENDGAME CONTENT:
Content that comes after the campaign/main game that is more complicated and difficult than the main game.
You are not entitled to endgame loot, you are not entitled to finishing this raid day one or at all, you are not entitled a positive KD, you are not entitled flawless and you are not entitled GM completions.
I really hope that bungie stops listening to you guys. Stop whining and demanding that the game is watered down. Y’all killed trials, y’all killed PvP with BUSTED guns and abilities, leave raids alone.
The only thing you’re entitled to is playing the GAME. Not winning at it
To everyone below saying I’m on a high horse and trying to make my rewards too exclusive:
I didn’t get the raid done day one despite really liking that emblem, I LFGed a team and flopped at the last boss, which is fine. I payed for the opportunity to play the game as did everyone here. We didn’t pay for free loot drops, or free activity completions so we shouldn’t be asking for them. I’m not a big raid guy, raids staying a challenge will make it so I get less loot and less seals and I’m still saying that they should stay difficult. I don’t want raiders players to lose their fun.

3 OdpowiedziHow tf does people find the raid remotely difficult after day 1??? Like does their brain capacity not fathom remembering 2 symbols on a wall? Or are they unable to shoot patrol level ads that pose no threat. 😂☠️☠️☠️☠️

4 OdpowiedziI don’t raid so I don’t deserve any of the loot from it and I’m fine with that. I like pvp.

What is really the topic of this post OP? This could have been an email. This is a video game, not your livelihood I’m sure or this would have been a video stream that we would not have to read on this forum. This game, just like many that are online evolve over time trying to appease everyone. Bungie has to look at the big picture, this is not a niche fan base. Pump the brakes a little turbo, and look at all that has changed.

casuals don't post on this forums, who post ons this forum are bad player/trolls
-
Casuals don't post on forums dude, the fact they're here makes them as far from casual as you can get.
-
1 OdpowiedźThis dude takes him self way too seriously. As do most of the hardcore player base. Its a video game for Christ's sake.. Like seriously your probably one of these people getting pissy because they extended contest mode and now the little picture you get to put next to your name isn't "exclusive" enough. It's just an excuse for people who have no life beyond playing video games literally non stop to delude themselves into thinking they are superior to others. Your not. Your good at playing video games in the grand achievements in life that ranks about 3/10. Also a big part of why destiny is so toxic with bs "get gud" attitude. Everyone who paid for the game should have a reasonable expectation to be able to participate in the game not make large amounts of content that only the best 5 to 10% of players will get to experience. That's not a good business model and pretty stupid tbh.
-
32 OdpowiedziYou mean the very same content they PAID for that only you and what the top 10% get to do? Yeah that seems fair….get off your high horse everyone should get to enjoy every piece of content that they paid for without the fear of being locked out, you sit here and complain about entitlement this and entitlement that, yet demonstrate that you should be entitled to do gms and raids bc you play everyday? The hypocrisy is strong with you my friend. Loke i tell all you elitists and ego driven players, get over yourself…its a video game and wveryone should be able to enjoy every aspect of it.
-
2 OdpowiedziPeople crying that the raid is too hard is pathetic, the raid is easy, i can't even imagine when master comes out
-
5 OdpowiedziAgreed. But let me ask you this: When you can’t fill those last two spots, what do you do? Coming on here and venting about casuals makes it more toxic for new players. Those new players need to learn, but with posts like these are less inclined.
-
1 OdpowiedźYou lost me at causals. It's such a toxic label. So someone doesn't play the game everyday and grind it like it's a second life. They have paid money(allot of people you are talking about) and their opinion is just as important as yours. This is a really stupid hill to stand one.
-
2 OdpowiedziWithout those “casuals” numbers there would be no more Destiny. Have you thought about that???
-
4 Odpowiedzi"Y'all killed trials" Funny considering bungie made trials slightly more friendly to average and lower skilled players and the playlist has more players than ever. Delusional...

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika OleHead315: 3/8/2022 11:32:17 AMThe casual player base is the player base. Remove them and all you got is streamers and their minuscule audience =dead as -blam!- game
-
Boo this gamer.
-
4 OdpowiedziPretty sure you're talking about the players that watch raid guides, only to be turned away by moronic elitists like yourself -blam!- to allow anyone on your fireteam who hasn't already run the raid. 9 times out of 10 you guys expect ppl to somehow gain the same experience they would get from actually completing a raid from a video...just so you cant be bothered with a question or 2.
-
3 OdpowiedziThe casuals are the core base of the game. They come back for new expansions.
-
Delusional elitist muted

4 OdpowiedziI disagree. While time spent in game should yield rewards in increasing ways, and players who no-life will have more skill (usually), casual players still need to be able to compete at a fair level with those players. A guy who works full time, who has children, real world responsibilities who can devote only 4-8 hours a week should still (after a few weeks of this) be able to play the content that is post campaign without being gated out. D2 doesn’t have a “casual” mode separate for those players. If they have finished the story and paid for the content, then they are ENTITLED to the post game content.
-
1 Odpowiedź"But if they put matchmaking in then we could go in and try, you're just scared that matchmaking players will get Raid loot" Lets see how long it takes for someone to end up posting the above. Its especially funny when its aimed at me. Like, brother.... friendo.... I have notched up roughly 300 sherpas in D2 alone. I dont mind who tf has Raid Loot. I want people to get sick drops. I have gone well out of my way to help that happen LMAO 😂
-
2 OdpowiedziSorry, dude, most of the money comes from casuals buying the DLCs and, by this, having acess to endgame content. If Bungie don't listen to them, there's the risk of losing most of the players just to applease a minority. Unless you are willing to spend millions on this game, Bungie would not be a fool to listen to you
-
1 Odpowiedźthe sub-set that 'complains' is super small. so small in fact that you probably see every single one of them doing so on the forums on a regular basis. the rest of us 'casuals' are perfectly content (content as in happy) running whatever content (content as in activities in the game lol) we have the time to dedicate to for whatever rewards drop at the end. after getting off work at the end of the day, i just want to have fun and shoot aliens, is that so hard to understand? lol

2 OdpowiedziGet off your high horse bud
-
1 OdpowiedźMeanwhile this donkey has very few clan mates, only 2 seals, and not even 10,000 triumph points 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Destiny lost its shine when greed took over years ago. DLC, season pass, eververse etc came into this game to make money from quantity of players rather than the quality of players. This is the new Bungie and your 50$ for a DLC is the same color as any other 50$ from an entitled patrolling noob to Bungie. It's simple math guardian. - Tess Everese

Mostly they complain about how many egotistical, rude and selfish jerks play the game. As one of Bungle’s pet streamers said when a Strike teammate got killed, “Great, now I can run ahead.” I don’t play pvp because it sucks. I don’t care if you enjoy it. I never ask Bungie to nerf pvp. I only ask for a chance to earn the gear that I paid for woth content that requires an equally difficult effort, but without pvp being part of it.
