1 OdpowiedźThere’s a reason why hunters can hop all over the place, while spamming hand cannon shots. The high aim assist/ bullet magnetism gives them free headshots, even if they aren’t landing their shots. It’s also the best peek shooting primary, so it makes them tough to counter. They definitely need to be toned down, but Bungie likes it when hand cannons are part of the meta.
Because it is the more or less unavoidable results of the fundamentals of PvP? Hand cannons allow for peek shooting - massive damage per shot while dipping in and out of cover - and, as a consequence thereof, will always be the popular choice for high-skilled players (should you need further explanation, see Shadow's video here: https://youtu.be/C6i2o4TuIi4). They also cover mid-range. That leaves the second weapon to either cover short or long. Given that most PvP maps are relatively cramped and high movement speed is a core feature of the game, more engagements will be short than long. Hence, shotguns. In other words, although the Crucible currently is as balanced as it has ever been (not perfect, but it is, objectively speaking), hand cannons and shotguns will ALWAYS be the meta unless nerfed into the ground. It is inherent in the way PvP is played in Destiny 2. Soz for the dull answer, but you know.. Those are the facts.
9 OdpowiedziSounds like an issue that can be easily fixed if you spent less time crying about it, and more time improving and changing your strats.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika michael: 1/13/2022 9:15:42 PMOther primaries just need to be buffed to match the versatility of hand cannons. They need more in air accuracy, lower zoom, better handing, and less flinch intake. Buff all of these things on rifles and watch how much more variety there is. Just look at guns like No time to explain and cold denial. Abnormally low zoom and high handling for pulse rifles. They are also the first two pulse rifles to break into the hand cannon meta. I quite literally love hand cannons more than anyone; I have never seen anyone with anywhere near as many hand cannon kills as I have. If I had it my way, PvP would be only hand cannons because I frankly dont like the slow, baity playstyle that comes with rifle metas. But the fact of the matter is that there are other guns in the game and while balance has gotten better, hand cannons do still dominate and there needs to be some variety. It is frustrating when I want to use something else for a change and instantly lose because someone has a hand cannon on and I don't; the only things that are as potent in my experience are no time to explain, and multimach/shayuras with peacekeepers. Maybe DMT but hipfire is too inconsistent for me to rely on it when it counts.

Lessen the flinch and reduce the range by 1-2 meters of the 140’s and we’ve probably got 1 of the best sandbox’s the game has ever had. Obviously if you turn a blind eye to the Chaperone, Driver and fusion rifles 😔

4 OdpowiedziYou are welcome to try winning 1v1's with a HC through bodyshots only and prove how potent they are.

8 OdpowiedziFalse promises with sway reduction, eye of the storm, high caliber rounds, full bore, & stability master. I can dunk on any HC archetype and out range them to boot.

SMGs exist for a reason, you know.

Just use vex mythoclast or forerunner against hand cannon users it pisses them off to no end and you’ll usually get hate mail. I love it.

1 OdpowiedźI was wondering when you were gonna cry on here again. Nice to know some things never change.
