I’m trying to browse shaders for my guardian’s helmet, but he keeps swaying and adjusting his feet. I mean he doesn’t stop. It’s unbelievably annoying.
Like I’m trying to Barbie my god destroying robot hunter, but, OH NO looks like he’s got adhd and can’t stand strait for five minutes despite being able to kill intergalactic gods, he can’t stop twitching!
I’ve had this pet peeve for six years and no one talks about this. It’s infuriating

Yes, the excessive movement in the character screen is way too much. I don't mind they move, but don't repeat the movement cycle so often.
-
1 OdpowiedźNobody talks about it because you'd have to be a complete tool to have something like that bother you.
-
1 OdpowiedźGuardians are undisciplined and aren't soldiers, so don't expect to be able to stand at attention or look as cool as a Halo Spartan from Infinite...
-
5 OdpowiedziBecause its a feature not a bug. Having a character that stands like a soldier at attention and doesn't move is considered a MAJOR animation no-no.

To piggyback on this idea, the characters need to hold both arms up when we're previewing arm pieces. A bunch of them are asymmetrical, but you can't move your cursor down far enough to see their right arms.
-
3 OdpowiedziIt's called an idle animation and every character in every game has one.
-
Rumour has it that it happens when you slay too many gods... You develop ADHD (side effect)
-
in the appearance customization menu, the guardian doesn't move at all.

I like this post.

Its like driving a standard in a traffic jam. It wouldn't be so bad but almost all of the armor is asymmetrical so you're constantly rotating your character, only to have them beha......ooo piece of candy

Ngl this might be the funniest post I’ve seen here to date

What you need is a customization screen similar to racing games where you can pick and choose items and the screen would zoom in and out on a particular item that you're customizing. Just a suggestion. But don't give them ideas. They'll charge you real money for it. They're so desperate they'll milk anything even ideas you've given them for free. That's a sign of desperation.

Because our guardian doesn't give a damn about what they look like! Their jobs is slaughtering gods! They don't care how they look, they just want to get out there and do their job while we are playing dress up Barbie. They are annoyed with us and fidgety about wasting time while we try and make them look good. 😁 I have actually never noticed it before. Just stopped a movie I was watching so I could log back into the game and go do some helmet inspecting. I honestly can't say that it bothers me. Seems obvious since I never noticed how much he moves while checking shaders out before. Hell it could be because I'm the same way in real life. I find it difficult to sit still very long and I've been told for more than 50 years to "stop fidgeting". 🤷♂️ It bugged my wife some for the first few years we were together but after 28 years together she has learned to either deal with me as I am or she simply stopped noticing it a long time ago.
