I'd be willing to bet that if the drop rate for Vex was increased, the complaints would almost entirely disappear. Just saying.

1 OdpowiedźIt’s a raid exotic, it should be OP.

I agree totally. Bungie please do not nerf the vex, the gun I grind for every week so I can be OP in PvP. Please allow me to have fun with it in that way like everyone else lucky enough to get vex or I'm cancelling and going back to Halo 💯 this is the last draw for me. After 18 clears and no vex it's only fair to allow it's power to continue so unlucky doofs like me can one day hope to weild it.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika TheArtist: 10/15/2021 1:12:26 PMNo. The complaints from PVP will get even louder. There is the "topic"...and then there is the real "issue" motivating the complaint. The thing you need to understand is that people will often avoid the real issue, and focus on a topic that is more comfortable to fixate on....and because it gets them more support than the real reason. That happened with Thorn in Destiny 1. The real issue is that many PvP players just didn't consider its DoT effect to be a legitimate play mechanic. If you got shot, you were forced to disengage and go heal. But instead of saying this, people just complained that it killed too fast. So Bungie wasted months and months trying to nerf the damage it did....but no matter how much it got nerfed people still complained it killed too fast..... ....until Bungie finally wised up, and nerfed Mark of the Destroyer so that you could simply IGNORE the burn and keep fighting. THEN---AS IF BY MAGIC----ALL THE COMPLAINTS WENT AWAY....andy why no one complains about Thorn being OP in Destiny 2. The same thing is going on here. Drop rates and lack of access are just a convenient topic (there are many other, easily available weapons that can go toe-to-to with VM in pvp.) The REAL ISSUE, is that this community will NEVER accept a full auto weapon of ANY sort being meta. EVERY time (for the last 7 years) one does....the community howls in (mock) outrage...complains that its OP and demands that it be nerfed. (So we can go back to a hand cannon/shotgun meta). While I disagree with Bungie caving to the pressure, they are being SMART in reading the room and showing that they understand their customer. They aren't going to waste time like they did with Thorn in D1 and try to make the Mythoclast more available. They're going to get to the real issue, and nerf it to the point where it is no longer part of the PVP meta....and the complaints will---again as if by magic----stop. No no. Its op as hell

2 OdpowiedziThen almost would be using vex. So I’m glad it’s getting a nerf and I already have it. It’s range is insane
-
Currently we have s funding meta till witch Queen. Should of at least waited till then before they nerf
-
9 OdpowiedziThe vex is not op, it’s just that it feels how an exotic should. Blame all the crucibabies and those that don’t have it.
-
Yhea because no gun that was given away ever got nerf.....
-
Forget it mate that gun is getting butchered come December. Absolutely no point in even trying to get it now bc we know they gonna kill the -blam!- weapon
-
Um... Fellwinters was given to everyone for free. It still leaves a bad taste in people mouths when you mention it. Everyone having it wouldnt make people not only hate the weapon but complain nonstop about how busted it is.
-
Just don’t nerf it in PvE
-
1 OdpowiedźAnd more ppl would do more raids just to get. Right now I dont feel like doing vog much due to the mythos' poor drop rate.

3 OdpowiedziDrop rates fine. Outliers are super vocal about it this go around is all. It’s always been a 5%. Shouldn’t be handing out a coveted reward just because it’s good
-
3 Odpowiedziexactly, it literally gets outgunned by any shotgun slider, most fusions, and most decent hand cannons. The ONLY one complaining are those who are actually bad at pvp, and by bad i mean those who cant even keep a 1.0 kd. Lorenz shouldnt even exist the way it does in this game....but they choose to ignore that.
-
More people would use it = more complaints It’s needs the SMALLEST of balance changes

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika The Rat King: 10/14/2021 11:30:00 PMI mean, it shouldn’t get a nerf, but it fulfills every role of a gun right now. Boss damage, ad clear, primary weapon, energy weapon, special weapon. It’s the jack of all trades which means it’s getting the Bungie attention… sadly.
