Highly disagree with the decision to make cobalt clash an unobtainable shader
I cant express how disappointed I am in the teams decision to make cobalt clash an unobtainable shader. Looking it to armor and weapons specific to the playlist which may or may not ever see the light of day due to poor rolls or not matching the desired appearance.
I definitely think that those who go flawless should either have a chance to obtain the shader as it's own drop to unlock in collections, much like the ghost and ship. Or just allow us to acquire it from gear it drops on upon dismantle.
This whole issue just feels like a kick in the nuts to players working their butts off to make it to the lighthouse
[u][b]Possible solutions[/b][/u]
-Add shaders to the flawless chest with a 1-5% drop chance
-different flawless shaders for completing specific flawless passages, excluding mercy
-guilding flawless in avaliable seasons

4 OdpowiedziJust another bonehead decision by Bungie. They aren’t about what’s fun for the player. D1 trials had some of the best shaders in the game. They are anti fun with most things and it severely hurts how good this game could be. It’s unfortunate to see.

12 OdpowiedziWell the shaders still take room from our Vault, what do you expect. Yeah it's better than having to delete 50+ every day but it's still dumb solution. Expecting them to actually keep shaders or even care about what people want is a bit too optimistic.

I equate this to the shader you get from going flawless in DSC. we should be able to wear it with pride that we accomplished this feat. I went flawless the first week, helped my bud go in week2, and have a helm with the said cobalt clash shader - it looks sick. just for the chance that we can dismantle to obtain, I've kept it intact. But this is Bungie and if they make a change to allow, I will most likely have to obtain it again on another piece to do so. Why not do things the same? we may never know.

I think, at the very least, it should be like that Shader that can only go on that one ship from The Dawning. Unlock it and it can only be applied to eligible items, which would be Adept items and Trials armour here.

2 OdpowiedziMiddle ground solution. Make it only be applicable to trials armor and weapons. Since it's only on armor and weapons from the lighthouse it cant be applied to pre existing items. Itd be annoying if you have a really good trials piece with good rolls but a flawless item with bad rolls but you really want to wear the shader youd have sacrifice your stats for appearance

I think they should make the flawless shaders a 1-5% drop rate from the flawless chest. Add in the old shaders to the loot pool also.

5 OdpowiedziI deleted a piece of gear without even thinking it might not be obtainable. Real facepalm moment right there. Who knows when I’ll go Flawless again.

I agree. I dismantled a weapon just so I could get the shader and was surprised that it did not go to my collections. Feels like a waste of a good shader.
