For those who have played both D1 and D2, I’m curious as to which of these subclasses you prefer. The question may be a little tricky since Defender (Ward of Dawn) does exist in D2 and subclass customization was different in D1. But stylistically and functionally, which subclass do you prefer? And would you like to see Defender added back as it’s own separate subclass in D2.

Thundercrash is the most fun, Bubble is the most useful.

2 OdpowiedziI used to use Doomfang and Sentinel alot before Bungie nerfed them. Now I'm primarily a Sunbreaker because of the sunspots: https://youtu.be/ujD_U70Opno

3 OdpowiedziBubble bro for life However, using the Bubble with Helm of Saint-14 in D2 gives you both weapons and armor of light and that alone brings it ahead of D1’s Defender.
-
On D2 I main more of aggressor, never been into defending.
-
Bottom sunbreaker out of all of them but I always play protector when I’m on sentinel
-
Sentinel because it’s more versatile.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Dredgen Truth: 5/9/2021 1:13:57 AMI dont play titan too much but I like having the ability to use a roaming super if needed, because while ward of dawn was absolutely amazing for damage and defensive purposes, it was near useless outside of boss rooms in d1.
-
I didn’t really play d1 but I generally prefer the one and done supers
-
Boy Wonder? I like Defender for PVE and Control PVP, Helm of St 14 Sentinel for regular PVP, PVE, Doom Fang Pauldron

Significantly better than defender in pve and pvp.

3 OdpowiedziD1 Defender now and always at heart, hell yes! ( BUBBLE BRO FOREVER. ) D2 sentinel is the watered down version sadly. Bring back my D1 version thank you bungie.

Sunbreaker with sunspots with high discipline and intellect with Hallowfire Heart -chefs kiss- Everyone gets mad at me for not using my super, but I get my grenade and melee back in 15 seconds so I don't see it as my problem...make your own titan if ya gonna be so salty

2 OdpowiedziSunbreaker all the way.

Sentinel by far because you have so many more options. I honestly would like them to completely rework the light subclasses into a fragment/aspect system but also allow for choice on the fly to use supers offensively or defensively. For example, tapping to cast a sentinel super would give you the movement and growing of the shield along with banner shield on blocking but a long hold would give a bubble like defender. No more having to choose to give up defense or offense completely for a subclass tree. Same for warlock and well.

14 OdpowiedziBut doesn’t top tree sentinel ultimately amount to an overall better version of the defender subclass?
