You mean Theta?
“Thanks, that helped a lot. You okay?”
-
Uh, whoops. Yeah. >.>
Theta nodded, still not saying a word.
-
“It’s okay, we won’t have to do that again. However, I need you to answer one thing if you can.”
-
She doesn’t say anything, but looks up at you in anticipation of the question.
-
“Can you tell me from which direction you heard the footsteps? It’s hard for us to tell on the speakers.”
-
She pointed ahead of her. “In front?” Kokonoe asked. “That would be from the flowerbed itself?” Theta nodded.
-
“Interesting. I’ll have to check again.” Geo heads back to the gardens.
-
Heading back to the gardens, you still find Joshua there. He had a sketchbook now, and it seems he’s begun taking to mapping out the room.
-
Geo heads to the flowerbed Theta was in front of.
-
It was a field of red poppy flowers, neatly arranged in a circle. The closest thing to them was the large centric tree, but even that was a good bit away. They were rather isolated.
-
Geo looks around for anything white, like flowers.
-
Nothing nearby. On the very far side the garden was a patch of glowing lunar tears, but they would have required a good sprint to reach the poppies.
-
"Great. Find anything yet Joshua?”
-
“Not yet.” Joshua said. “How about you, detective?”
-
“An encoded book and one trip through Theta’s memory. Speaking of which, where do you think someone wearing white could hide here?” Geo looks over towards the restaurant for anything that they could blend into.
-
“An encoded book, huh? Mind if I take a peek?” He looked around. “As for a hiding spot, I wish I knew.” He turned his map towards you. “Theta chose the most isolated flowerbed in the garden to admire.”
-
Geo tosses the book over to him, and take another look at the restaurant.
-
Looking over the book he begins mumbling to himself. Eventually he hands it back to you, though now he’s already caught up in his own head, mumbling to himself as he paces through the garden. The restaurant is much the same as before.
-
Geo heads back to Sayu mart.
-
As you do, SAYU appears in front of you again. “Hi there, my name is SAYU, and welcome to SAYU-Mart; your one stop shop for all your shopping needs! Can I help you find anything today?”
-
“Is there anything here out of place? Like an item where it shouldn’t be?”
-
She chuckles. “All of the items on our shelves are just holograms! All our real inventory is underground!”
-
“Thanks.” Geo searches the place.
-
Everything seems normal today. No suspicious murder papers on the ground this time! Rho seems a bit annoyed watching you poke around the place, though. More than usual, that is.
-
“You okay? You’re grumpier than usual.”
