Buff Acrius
Could Acrius get some love? Of all the raid exotics, it gets the least use due to its short range, range fall off, and poor damage (at least in my opinion).

It not being able to drop orbs holds it back. Charging it up takes too long and with the removal of autoloading rift/barrier it needs extended duration or autoreload when the perk is active.

Most of the vanilla exotics need to be buffed tbh. They were made when it was planned to be strictly double primary

1 OdpowiedźPoor damage? The weapon has some excellent dips while literally one shooting almost all ads. It was even one of the top options for gahlran next to 4th horseman. The only reason it doesn’t have much of a place now is the fact that most encounters don’t allow it to shine. Also a lot of heavies have power creeped their way into the top spot.

Other option is to move it to the Energy Slot and tune it accordingly. Same applies to Whisper and DARCI. As for Tractor Cannon, that could be a huge PVP imbalance if it was a special weapon. Heck it could dial back Stasis in the Crucible lol

5 OdpowiedziI made a post about this already but can you please unlock this for people that beat the raid (Leviathan) and the ultra hard Arms Dealer strike but didn’t finish the rest of the quest! I’ve had the gun stuck on my Titan for 3 years. It’s one of 3 exotics I don’t have (Tarrabh and 1K are the others). I can use it, upgrade it, but can’t vault or transfer it. It seems ridiculous that I have to grind spoils to buy a guy I can already use (just on one character). This is the only quest in destiny history designed like this. Anyone else in this boat?

I’m pretty sure it’s fine? I remember someone else making a post about this, and most of the people on that thread also agreed that it’s still good.

Now this is an exotic to move to special slot. Along with Darci, they’d need very few changes to keep balanced with other specials. They’re balanced around specials still being in the heavy slot. It’s the same spot as every linear fusion or Trace Rifle.

6 OdpowiedziThe only really broken place to farm catalyst kills imo are the thrallway in shattered throne and the first encounter adds in last wish (They respawn if you don't step on a plate I think?). I did acrius and DMT both this way will probably go back for Telesto. I 'll probably use Last Wish for Sleeper since the adds are easier to hit with that slow fire and reload rate.

I don’t agree on it being the least used raid exotic. Tarrabah still takes the cake on that one.

1 OdpowiedźIdk but LoA should have unstoppable shot intrinsically. 1k voices can have overload shot intrinsically. Anarchy is fine as it is. Tarrabah should have anti barrier intrinsically.

I just finished the catalyst yesterday, it's powerful but o would not say no to a buff.

Honestly I'd love to have it as a special weapon. I don't like shotguns as heavy weapons.

It's still pretty good right now and with the catalyst easier than ever to get it is quite viable. If it got any sort of buff it might be considered too much and get nerfed possibly to a worse state than it is right now. Pop on some shotgun handling armour mods and enjoy the madness I say :)
