In D1 you got a single legendary Engram. How is this worse?

I got an exotic, a ghost shell, a dancing emote, an ascendant shard, and most importantly a fruit cake from the last gift. For free it was alright.

Plus a ascendent ball, and some cosmetics. For new lights this helps them out. As for vet players really this is a FREE EVENT you seriously thought you we're gonna get something special.

Eh, the ascendant shard was nice and I got a higher stat rolled doomfang so I can’t complain lol.

1 OdpowiedźTo me, Bungie has been engaging the new players more (the exotic is actually useful to them) and keeping the old players stuck in a hamster wheel loop. It's seriously like a psychological roach motel that uses loot as bait.

See, as long as they keep making pointless content that is basically only created to have the player base spend a lot of time grinding, they don't have to actually offer anything. All they have to do is hype it so it creates this illusion that "it's a secret and that they will get something special". Works like a charm every time, but it didn't work on me because I didn't waste my time grinding, all of you did that for me. It's not to be rude, it's just knowing this is what Bungie is all about today.

These events have been rubbish for a while. Id rather they invest in dropping a new strike, pvp map or a few weapons in the loot table than this crap. Most people i talk to you find these boring and copy/paste.
