“No kidding. Granted, I haven’t done much space travel, but not even my schoolbooks back home mentioned anything like Offtopic.”
Red takes a large, satisfying bite of her burger.

“Huh. Where are ya from?”

“Not anywhere near here,” Red replies with a shrug of her shoulders. “Just another planet. Nothing exciting.”

Blaze almost grins. “Hey, it’s nice seeing another person from another planet!”

Luckily, though she is glad for Blaze’s reaction, Red isn’t focusing on the smile! She perks up a bit more. “You are too? Sweet! Where are you from?”

“I’m from Rin! Left the place two years ago.”

“Rin, Rin, Rin...” Red taps her temple with her finger. “Sounds vaguely familiar. Why’d you leave?”

Blaze shrugs. “Planet was a bit of a mess. Got out after I got my degree in cooking and engineering.”

“Cooking [i]and[/i] engineering? That’s pretty cool. I’m sorry to hear that it was a mess, though...” There is a genuine glint of empathy in her eye.

Blaze nods. “It’s alright......I’ve been able to keep away from home....for the most part.”

“Oh, well that’s good... I think! Looks like you’ve got it pretty figured out here.”

He nods again. “Yup! Offtopic gets pretty fun after a while!”

“I have a feeling I’ll get a little taste of that while I’m here.” Red smiles and glances at her food. “Well, I think I’m going to continue eating this. Thank you again for the food and answering my questions.” [spoiler]Oh, happy Thanksgiving![/spoiler]
