Iron Banner is ruined. Thanks.
We’ve had this conversation a lot since the season started. CBMM ruins everything for people like me. Now I got Saladin’s quest and I don’t know how many games I’m supposed to play to get this done. What with all the stuff going on in terms of sunsetting etc, I think this is really unnecessary and alienates players even more.
Played three games now. All stacked teams way better than I am. Doesn’t even matter which team they’re on. I’m not getting kills either way. Just stupid.
Edit: Even ignoring the quest, I still miss out on what used to be four easy pinnacle drops which I find unacceptable given how hard they are to obtain in PvE.

2 OdpowiedziAll 3 of my EXTREMELY casual teammates got the 25 sidearm and 25 auto rifle kills in like an hour and a half on Tuesday. Light levels ranged from 1020-1030 so they weren't even 1050+ like everyone and their mothers already are. AND, they got their bounties done rather easily. Either you truly could do with improving a little or you just want it handed to you by getting lucky and playing like minded players who don't want to improve either.

Well check this out, just don't play it then. As a solo PvP player, I will never get raid loot, I'll never complete a GM nightfall, but I'm not here complaining to bungie that they should change those entire portions of the game just to cater to solo PvP players. No, those activities just aren't for me, and I'm fine with that. Maybe pvp just isn't for you?

We had this conversation a lot and you still sit here and cry, as when you could play the game and improve? 95% of all games runs CBMM find a team and get better. You went nowhere with the SBMM hamster wheel system where you only ever play against same skilled people, that isen't normal! From sports to every other fps game you wont see this bs lag system grow up as a FPS player! Find like minded people form a team and get better naturally and stop the crying!

The quest is 50 kills with sidearms and autos the easiest iron 🍌 quest ever!! Did it in 2/3 games and I played against a wide variety of players solo’s, 6 and 5 stacks and doubles!! It’s fine your just being a drama 👸 !!

I tried using Buzzard at first, 3 kills by the end of the match. I tried Ratking and got 13 kills with a 13 KD as we mercied the opposing team. Buzzard < Ratking Going invisible as a Warlock is quite entertaining

12 OdpowiedziYeah. It wasn’t so bad , but when I decided to get the quest line done. Wow. Fuking Wow! I’m never getting these side arm kills done. Never. I get destroyed in a fire fight with Spare Rations, Forward Path and Gnawing Hunger way before I kill a guy with a sidearm.

How is it ruined. Players are saying the same exact thing every single IB, literally. It is not bad. Trials and Comp are far more sweaty. If your a casual player you can’t jump into competitive PvP and expect to do good. It’s not 600rpm autos are high any hand canon can beat its players not taking the time to learn how to play PvP and use strategy which in 6v6 your gonna get team shot no matter what sort of matchmaking there is.

7 OdpowiedziHi, I have been looking at your recent games. You average 7-8 kills in QP? A good game atleast 15. Im starting to think you can barely hold a 1 kd some matches. Maybe Iron Banner isnt meant for you? As IB is a monthly game mode made for sweats.

Im average on a good day, but this quest is easy! I had it done in about an hour.

This is hilarious, banner has always been full of teams since D1 the difference is back in d1 you would attempt to beat said teams whi were often trash anyway with your randoms and laugh all the way to town. Today its "oh no a team, were done" and you proceed to throw because some people are in a party together

So far, with CBMM, this had been the laggiest, sweatiest Iron Banner I've ever been in. Worse one in history of me playing D1 and D2..... sigh

I didn’t even try iron banner tbh. My hunter and warlock sitting at 1059 gear so I don’t even need those +2 pinnacles I’m ok with +1 drops.

Sorry if it sounds harsh but there's plenty of guides on YouTube by top pvp players to help improve as a player cbmm will help you improve all sbmm will do is slow your progress. If you really want sbmm go play survival. Guides I'd look at and have improved my game play I watched were by truevangaurd mtashed and coolguy

7 OdpowiedziPvP just needs team based matchmaking along with cbmm. A freelance mode for all playlists can also work but that ONLY benefits solo players instead of all groups below a 6 stack. Sbmm is a disease, it should stay gone unless dedicated servers are implemented AND strict skill based progression is in place (up to 5x loot and all forms of progression/currency depending on skill bracket).
