If this is a planned feature, please do not follow through with it. Raid exotics are extremely special, unique, and (mostly) powerful weapons, making them so easy to get degrades the achievements of the players who earned them when they were hardest to get and all the players who will raid 20+ times this season to get them. I understand making the seasonal exotics obtainable if they were missed but raid exotics should not be lumped in with weapons like bastion, erianas vow, and fourth horseman.
At the very least let us know what your plans for the exotics from sunset raids are.

Bungie should make them achievable through exotic quests. Those were always very well received by the community and having a bunch of new quests like that would be great. I think this is the best option Bungie should consider.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Swiftlock: 6/23/2020 3:21:13 PMThe reward is that you got to use the weapons earlier than everyone else. Overcoming bad RNG is not so much an "achievement" as it is getting lucky. Giving players a new route to find raid exotics that have evaded them due to a bad number generator is a good thing.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika NVMYGT: 6/23/2020 1:01:25 AMThis is your second post about this recently. I'm hoping you are directing this towards people that have never done the raid. I've run 4 SoTP since the drop rate increase. My 54th, 55th, 56th, and 57th completions and I have yet to get Anarchy. One of my guys I helped sherpa through it got his first Anarchy on his 3rd clear and his second Anarchy on the very next raid, his 4th clear. On our 3rd recent raid, 2 guys with less than 5 clears both got it. I am going to keep doing Scourge until I finally get that damn gun but pretty much every person I have ever run it with has gotten Anarchy and got it before their 10th clear. You think it would be fair to me if those exotics went away with no way to get them again? 57 raids? I know there are other in worse situation than me, more clears than me but raid exotics should have a guarantee by the 50th damn clear FFS! If you got Anarchy before your 50th clear and dont think that I should get the gun just because of my shitty luck I've got something to say to you.

1 OdpowiedźI wouldn’t mind spending 20 dollars on a raid weapon, bungie take note, or a quested weapon that takes 5 days to get.
-
Buyable from Xur/Rahool? Heck no. Earnable from any raid? Yep

6 OdpowiedziI love seeing all these casuals who don't or can't raid for whatever reason trying to justify making these exotics easily obtainable by making them available to buy from an NPC or some other easier method AND always replying, "i EaRnED iT hUrHuRhuR...". These exotics require a lot of skill to get and I know that there are a lucky few that get carried and get it on their first run. That's how life works in general though, but you sound as if they should be easily gotten like the "free" $10 exotic that rolls around every season. I put the work in to get my raid exotics so if you want a cool gun you should work for it too. Sounds fair, right?

Raids shouldn't be sunset no matter when it came out.

4 OdpowiedziWould you be fine with it if people who obtained it from the raid got an exclusive ornament or something.
-
3 OdpowiedziWell how should I go about getting terrabah? I’ve made a few attempts at crown and no luck for me. A better solution might be to honor those who got it the hard way with something like an exclusive weapon ornament. I really don’t think Bungie is going to go as far as to give the gun a quest.

4 OdpowiedziIt doesnt degrade your time spent achieving it.....its something you can tell the kiddies.....back in the day .....if whisper got thrown in the loot pool ill be fine with it.....it was a pain in the ass quest but you gotta look forward to future exotic weapons that will be better.....dont be mad
-
3 OdpowiedziThey are not special, they are digital nothing like everything else. But more importantly a new player should have the same access to the same loot, if the source goes away the source has to be changed. That is fair.

20 OdpowiedziSo I farmed raid for 60 times for anarchy and now people will get it like freebie candy? F that if I see that happen I won’t buy the expansion

13 OdpowiedziJust add all the retired raid weapons in the loot pool.....i still want the midnight coupe it would be great to finally obtain it.....
-
Shove them in a quest that involves completing any of the Raids(multiple times if you want). Done, easy. Have all the Raid Exotics and couldn't care less if people can get them without RNG after the Raids they were associated with are vaulted. Quest step is there to attempt to maintain some integrity, but people would probably just try and grab Queenswalk checkpoints anyway

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Corrick II: 6/24/2020 4:47:16 PMWhere did you see this? I find it hard to believe that raid exotics would just be dropped in the loot pool or Xur's inventory. Aside from the utter madness that would cause amongst players, that would put the onus on Bungie to create new exotics for when these raids come back since the old ones are so easily accessible. Now that I think about it, that actually doesn't sound like such a bad idea.

Make anarchy a 20% drop as well as regular rewards form the beyond light raid, and make tarrabah a 20% drop from VOG when they bring it back They’re still obtainable but they’re still not easy to obtain
-
3 OdpowiedziPut them into Rahool’s inventory, with the requirement to get them being an exotic cipher and a completion of any D2 raid. Or to be more restrictive, a completion of the raid the item was originally obtained from.
