A community challenge should be able to involve the whole community like the one you did for MARS!!! This one is IMO for streamers and you tubers I’ve been on there sites asking what I can do to help with no reply at all, apparently it seems to me if you don’t subscribe they can’t be bothered to respond to you. So I call BS on this community challenge. I did my 19 lore by myself and got the emblem from watching a video for the code so I guess I’ll just wait and let others figure it out without being able to help because of a poor design on bungies part. I guess this was a bone thrown to the streamers so they would stop saying how bad the state of destiny is in with PVP and all the things broken in the game. So good luck

2 OdpowiedziI don’t think this puzzle or the mars event were good community events at all. One was boring grinding. One is screenshooting symbols and using third party websites to compile. Neither has satisfied me. I didn’t participate in either. I don’t know what the answer is here for a satisfying ‘community’ challenge I’d enjoy, but neither of these are it. Firstly I’d say that whatever the challenge is, your participation and all tracking over the event should be done ALL in game. Have a terminal or something where you can ‘upload’ progress (items collected etc maybe?) and where you can see real time progress to keep track (just a quick idea).

Edytowany przez użytkownika madgamer438: 1/20/2020 6:38:09 AMI now think Bungie is throttling the puzzle somehow, maybe by telling the people at the top with the map information to drag it out. It only seems logical. I've been watching this one streamer for days, he's been open and honest with information on stream. The thing that gets me is the fact I keep hearing the streamer asking for a map update. "Where's the map update?" No one can get a hold of the map people, WHY? It looks like Bungie's just dragging this out artificially to cook the books on how many gamers are on playing Destiny 2. Bungie's gotta make the first quarter look real good!

43 OdpowiedziCollecting the 19 lore entries was one of the most boring things I've ever done in a video game. I have zero interest in helping the elitist neckbeards figure out the puzzle.

5 Odpowiedzi"Mars" Yeah, running EP non stop for a week. Big community event /s No it wasn't. It was there to get people loot they didn't get back when Warmind dropped, cos people stopped running EP altogether. That's it. Thats all that was.

12 OdpowiedziThe way this works is Bungie provide streamers these bs “events” so they can promote the game. Streamers are just independent contractors that all work for Bungie. All of them regardless of what they say Datto Bungie employee Gladd Bungie employee Etc How these streamers make money is the event “required” participation. To participate you have to pay the streamer $5 monthly so he can ignore your suggestions. Hundreds to thousand subscribe streamers gets paid. Streamer then broadcast game, Bungie gets paid. Quid pro quo Streamers prefer content that is not doable by community, thus they can be propped up as the best and brightest. That’s why I don’t like streamer influence cause it’s bad for actual players. For losers who want to sit in a chat and say its to the left for $5 for hours a day I guess this is for you to. For real players we all see thru this bullshyt.
-
14 OdpowiedziEh. It’s really not for streamers. Have you seen Gladd in this? I watched for a little bit out of curiosity. That dude doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. He literally only knows how to brute force things and relies heavily on the very lesser known people he runs with to actually figure the puzzle out. Most of the people actually figuring this puzzle out are not well know streamers or streamers at all. With all that being said, I agree it’s still a dumb activity and not something created for the actual community at all. I just hope whatever it all leads to is easy to do at the end because I’m tired of Bungie making this game a second job.
-
5 OdpowiedziThis certainly isn’t for some ‘average’ player who jumps on for couple hours to play. If you’re not on reddit/YouTube/forums, you’d have no idea what’s going on. I’m glad some people are excited, but I’d much rather have played through a cool, fun 15 minute mission than wait through this boring puzzle.
-
5 OdpowiedziYeah, i -blam!-ing love doing math and hexadecimal code bs in a video game that cant just create a decent puzzle within the medium of video gaming. No thanks, ill just get back to DBZ Kakarot and laugh that the clowns on here defend this like with all the other awful "content"
-
3 OdpowiedziIf it goes on to long, people will get bored. Streamers will lose their viewers. Then they will turn of and give up. Lol. Message me when we get real actual content. Where I can use my gun? Or at least use my controller.

Posts like these make me smile. Thanks for the chuckle :)

These Bungie Basement Streamers like Saynotorage can't even capitalize when they have center stage. Bungie screwed up with this fake community they started.
-
8 OdpowiedziYou’re not alone. This trash is boring and dumb.
-
this challenge sums up destiny at the moment. Wondering around not sure what to do.

79 OdpowiedziGladd attained roughly 10k subs yesterday on his stream. At a minimum 1 month sub, that's nearly 30k dollars. I'm pretty intelligent but I didn't make 30k yesterday and neither did a majority of the few players left on Destiny. It's not really a community event. Bungie knows exactly who's going to be working on stuff like this when they create it.
-
11 OdpowiedziIf you need spreadsheets for it, it's not a community event, it's a job. And we don't even know what the payoff will be. I mean, for all this work, it HAS to be an exotic, right? Idk. I just hope that this shit gets solved soon, I'm tired of seeing honeycombs on my twitter feed.
-
The mods at Raidsecrets Discord are actually gatekeeping a lot of data from the rest of the community while stealing the community data themselves. My clan asked for their spreadsheet and in return they asked for ours. After my clan gave it to one particular mod there, the guy just said that he's too busy to hand over their data and stopped replying. I'm pretty sure streamers are in on this gatekeeping thing going on there.

2 OdpowiedziI freaking love this challage while I’m not taking part of it it’s so nice to see bungie putting in so much effort. So downgrade this post pls
-
3 OdpowiedziWhen did using punctuation become uncool? Lol
-
2 OdpowiedziI already have a full time job, don't need to work this puzzle as another one. Not a fan of these puzzles anyways. I'd rather just shoot things
-
I should have said ARE WE THERE YET????
-
Just wondering is it solved yet????
-
What are you talking about? I contributed one third of the data on line 2463 of the spreadsheet :) If that's not getting involved, I don't know what is.
-
1 Odpowiedźout of a couple of streamers ive watched they have Bots in the chat that tells you if you want to help submit your pics into raid secrets discord
-
If you want to do your part, each player gets 2 symbols a day per character. Submit your images to the streamers that are piecing together the thousands of images. That’s all everyone is doing right now. The streamers and you tubers are sometimes too busy to respond unless they take a pause. They’re writing sequences, taking screenshots, filing, mapping. Just because you can’t contribute by mindlessly killing hive on mars doesn’t mean you can’t contribute.
-
you literally just have to go to gladd or the raidsecrets discord and upload a screenshot of your code from the emblem run. Quit being a whiner. I've been helping with transcribing and screenshots for the past day and a half, and yet here's all these losers thinking they can't help at all just because "a streamer is involved"
-
That’s a fair point. There was a lot more videos saying how shit destiny has become. I believe that is the EXACT reason for this puzzle. Keep the streamers of their backs.
