I play titan and would like to know what subclass (tree specific would be nice) i should use. I don't like switching subclasses in the middle of playing so in would like to know what class i can use that works in all modes. i play all activities fairly equally and in gambit i like to be the invader because i just feel good destroying those with lots of motes. I know every class is strong here or weak there but i would like to just pick one and never mess with it ever again.
P.S. if it wouldn't trouble you a reason why would be very appreciated and any exotics that would help in what your suggesting would be nice so that i pay extra attention to xur whenever he arrives.
thank you too all that post here

Top tree sentinel anyone who's says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about
-
Top tree striker and skullfort - full scrub for everything, the later season pass armour is great
-
Depends. Raids it depends on encounter. I'll use GoS as an example. Middle tree striker for ad clear sections (1st and second phase of GoS) Top tree sentinel (bubble) for bosses (3rd, 4th phase of GoS) For something like strikes, normally I gravitate towards middle tree striker or bottom tree hammers. Gambit, normally top tree sentinel. Like I said, it all depends on what you're doing, what playstyle you're going for, and what modifiers if any are active.

2 OdpowiedziBe a real titan main, make Saint proud. Top Tree Sentinel (Bubble) and Helm Saint 14

3 OdpowiedziIt’s all based on YOUR kind of gameplay. Play around with each one and see what sticks for you. I shuffle through most classes and trees because I feel like each of them are purely situational and come in handy

2 OdpowiedziYou will get a different answer from each person. It is a personal choice and depends on what activity you are doing.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Blaxsun: 1/4/2020 4:50:16 AMUnfortunately, with the way the artifact works it can really change every season based on the mods. Depending on what exotic armor you run this can really influence things as well. However, this is the one I like: * Middle tree Sentinel (void). One-eyes mask, magnetic or void wall grenades. This works great in PvP (OEM) and even better in PvE. Everything you hit or grenade gets a detonator which can then trigger more void explosions. The throwing shield is great in PvP (you can take out entire teams clustered together with one shot!)
-
I use ward of dawn for most activities, but it's just my opinion

I always find Code of the Fire-Forged (top Sunbreaker) always useful in PVE with Hammer Strike, Code of the Missile (middle striker) because its fun, Code of the Commander for Sentinel because it gives some pretty good survivability. at the end of the day its up to you! experiment and find what you feel most comfortable. For gambit Code of the Devastator is fun as the heavy attack homes in on targets (taking you get close enough)
-
I mainly use top and middle tree void, middle and bottom tree solar, and middle and bottom tree arc. It all just depends on my mood. In terms of ‘optimal’ it’s 100% top tree void. But variety is important.
-
It changes for each activity and/ or bounties. I just recently started playing with with mid solar on my titan and am loving it. I play bottom solar sometimes as well. Shield bash for void. And top tree arc. I don’t run any of the others because they don’t fit my personal play style. I have a clan mate that when we run he will run the melting point when I run bottom solar so we have it covered. ( but throwing the hammer at mobs and other guardians In mid solar is absolutely turning into my favorite pastime)
-
It’ll change with burns in strikes, but I like bottom tree sentinel. Shield bash, extra shield throw, doomfangs will make it last longer. Fun times
-
Well for fun I run Stryker but that is not very effective If I want kills I go with solar middle tear Bubble is useless imho
-
Top/bottom void for play style top if you're shotguning with synthoceps and when supers up switch to saint helm Bottom if you're interested in ability kills and a hyper aggressive play style with doom fangs or lion rampants

Edytowany przez użytkownika Unstoppable_Screeb: 1/3/2020 3:51:05 PMPvE - top tree hammers because of hammer strike with peregrine greaves and Monte Carlo so you can repeatedly hit that hammer strike (helps your team in gambit especially PvP - even though they’ve nerfed both it’s still kinda hard to ignore OEM and bottom tree striker lol That’s what I use anyway when I do Titan-ing :)

1 OdpowiedźArc - Code of the Missile with Insurmountable Skullfort. Solar - Code of the Devastator with Biotic Enhancements. Void - Code of the Aggressor with Doomfang Pauldrons.

2 OdpowiedziTop tree sentinal with doomfang.

Top tree void Titan.... is probably the most versatile subclass, since you get two supers for the price of one subclass. After that, I would probably go with Solar Titan. Both are equally good at dealing damage with their supers, and have solid abilities. Top Tree void Titan has the additional advantage of being able to access a second super, thats a very powerful support super. One that is one of the strongest in the game right now, after it got a buff and Well of Radiance got nerfed.

Top tree solar w/peregrine greaves

Play what’s fun. All weapons. All armor. All subclasses. Everything is viable. All synergy does is make things easier.
-
Im not sure why we call those trees... they are more like a branch with a couple leaves on it.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika juicehead2004: 1/3/2020 8:39:41 AMTop tree sunbreaker imo is the most versatile for just about any pve encounter. Now obviously certain activities and encounters will call for different subclasses and changing things up but in general hammer Titan pretty much has u covered for everything. Exotics I personally prefer while running that particular subclass are- Hallowfire heart chest piece, One Eyed mask Helm, Armmeterium chest or Actium war rig chest. U can cover all the bases with top tree hammer Titan man and any of those exotics pair really well with that subclass, and a few of those pair well with any Titan subclass , so it’s just personal preference

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika an Ape with a d2 addiction: 1/3/2020 8:22:47 AMStrictly for pvp, always preferred bottom tree striker for the neutral play. Break someone's shields (which is half their HP) gives you an extended melee range. Meleeing someone at half HP will kill them so the synergy's great. Melee kills also heal you in that subclass. Couples great with shotgunning. If you don't happen to one-shot someone he's quaranteed to have his shield's broken -> increased range melee cleanup. Same with sniping close quarters. Hip-fire bodyshot someone with all frames breaks their shield -> melee cleanup. Works like a pseudo shotgun. The slam super's been nerfed to oblivion (which was good and needed) so it's more vulnerable now, but the jump -> light melee attack spam zigzag's still a good way to move fast and be harder to hit. Can still get good kills with it, just gotta play a bit more careful. It's pretty bad tree for pve though. Just puttin possibilities out there.

1 OdpowiedźTop tree solar. I use that for everything when I dont feel like switching. Hammers works in gambit/crucible/strikes very well.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Corrick II: 1/3/2020 7:50:01 AMDamage - solar (top tree) Defense (solo) - void top tree Defense (team) - void middle tree PvP troll - Arc top tree ... and yes these are opinions but just what I’ve experienced both using and being used against me. Enjoy! (Edited)
