I bought this game because my friends were playing it. It's a pretty cool game and a concept, both pvp and pve in the same sandbox, not the first or the best. The only problem I have wsith this game and the reason I probably wont buy the next expansion is this, quest after quest after quest after quest. For a casual player, this is not what you want. I mean I can see and would be okay obtaining specific weapons with the increase of your xp but, the stacking on quests on quests is absurd. I tried the lumina gun quest, i think thats the name of the gun, the gun for rose which becomes another gun after the tiresome quest. Finished the first quest, than I was given 3 more quests, than finished those and I got another quest. Am pretty sure after I finish the last quest, I will be given another quest. This game is to time-consuming for a person who has a family or a real job and only has an hour or two to play each day. I am not even going to bother ranting about the crucible weapons or the hard and very time consuming gos puzzles and just the even itself.
Thats my to cents. Casual player who does not spen hours a day playing this game, nor do I have the hours to play this game, becoming frustrated with how the system works on this game.

Pick a specific focus and make that your goal for the day/week/season. “Finish all quests,” “do bounties,” are not specific enough. Once that’s done, pick something else. It’s not mandatory to complete all quests and bounties. In fact, it’s really not a realistic way to play unless playing this game is your job.

11 OdpowiedziThe thing for me is that you have a choice. You don't have to binge the quests. There are plenty of casual activities to keep you busy for however long you have to game.
-
1 OdpowiedźYup. This post is the true definition of Casual.👍😂
-
You can't label yourself as a "casual" player and at the same time expect to have time to complete every quest in an online multiplayer game like this. Pick your pursuits and chase the stuff your really really want and then just focus on having fun instead. There are plenty of weapons that are locked behind quests that you can really do without.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Swiftlock: 11/19/2019 10:32:18 PMIf you think D2 demands your time, I highly recommend you don't go anywhere near WoW or FF14. Your eyeballs will launch out of your skull.

Not how this game is designed Or any MMO, even if Destiny is only sorta an MMO Playing the wrong game bro
-
Okay boomer.
-
This doesn’t sound like the game for you
-
The current D2 is a accumulation of all the content since launch. There is going to be A LOT of quests.

Edytowany przez użytkownika LikwiD_SmOkE22: 11/19/2019 10:53:10 PMSounds like this game isnt for you .. You can play this game casually but you shouldn't expect to have things other players have that they put more time in for .. I play with plenty of people that have way less time available to play this game and they all have these quests done .. Lumina is probably one of the shortest and easiest exotic quests to complete

I’m casual and I love quests. I won’t finish them all, but that’s okay.

6 OdpowiedziSorry, but I’m confused. You’re literally the first person I’ve heard of, complaining (in lack of better words) about the amount of things to do? Why not focus on one thing - at a time? I’m in the same situation as you are, but I can’t go and do everything there is - at the same time. Valor bonus? Let’s focus on PvP! Maybe I need an upgrade on my favorite weapon? Let’s chase down a catalyst or two. How is too much content a bad thing? I really can’t take you serious with this.

10 Odpowiedzi>Buys an MMO type game >hates doing quests and grinding Oh ya! Makes perfect sense.

1 OdpowiedźMinecraft sounds more your style.

This is a game that is designed for someone who plays daily. At least for an hour or two a day. If you're looking for a game you can just play on weekends.....or drop for a two weeks, and come back to....this is not your game.
-
I dont like warframe but it is a very casual friendly game. You can hop on a bit, get a few things done and bugger off with no worry your falling behind on anything.

4 OdpowiedziCasuals killed D2 at launch, play a single game dude if you want casual gaming, casuals are the problem why Destiny 2 is dying once again

Edytowany przez użytkownika Mad EYE Murffy: 11/19/2019 10:26:16 AMYou are in year 3 of the game, what did you expect, a bare bones experience? I’m sorry but a lot of games these days suffer from lack of content and complaining that there’s too much is pretty ridiculous. You don’t have to do everything as soon as it appears, I’ve still got exotic quests from year 1. You also appear to be able to play every day despite your so called responsibilities.

To much content wow 🤩
-
Oh no, theres too much content.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika PurplePickle: 11/18/2019 10:05:42 PMYou literally have hours of time played over the past couple days, any part of that time could have been used to finish the final part of the quest. I'm very sorry that you have a job and a family and less time to play video games but that's life and it happens to the vast majority of us. It's not bungie's job to cater to people who can only play 3 hours a week. If they did the game would be a hollow shell that most people would put down after a week. Get over yourself, you literally play every single day dont be a whining little -blam!- boi.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Muka Gatals: 11/19/2019 5:53:30 PMFor me...its the Nerf. When finally the average player like me finish the quest...the Weapon get nerfed..!! It become a different gun. Bungie need more fair way to deal with this. Instead Nerfing the Pinnacle Weapons Bungie should just put Use limit on it. For instance. The Recluse limit it 5000 PVP Kills per season. So the average players that get it later still can have Fun with it. They already worked harder than High Skilled PVP players because they have to fight against the High Skilled PvP players that Use the Recluse during the process to have it..!!! Of course after few months the High Skilled PvP players get bored with Recluse..the want the nerf. And that's not fair for the average PVP players that get if after few months.

Quest currently have no time limit. I took a year to earn TLW and Chaparone. Work on quest at your pace, there is no rush.

This game unfortunately does require time. So I'm sorry bud, you're probably not gonna have a good time in this game without sticking to PvP or Strikes. If you need rolls or armor I suggest farming Menagerie as that's the fastest way to earn them as well as Leviathan/Hive mods. If you're asking for things to be more accessible for you as a casual then please allow me to press the worlds smallest ⓕ key as we've already been down this road. It made the game real bad my dude, real bad.

I play 6 hours a week...occasionally more if I have the time. Progress is very slow because there aren’t the daily powerful rewards now so I’m spending longer getting less. Still enjoy the game but I don’t have time, as my play is spread over several days, to actually achieve much.
