Hush bow is a waste of time don't bother
Just finished a 3 day grind for hush the pinnacle gambit weapon and wow is it just crap. I use bows alot and this one is just pointless why is it in the energy slot? I would rather have my loaded question over a bow and the other thing is why does the perk only work when firing from the hip what's that about? I'm good with a bow but getting to use this perk probably is probably pointless, the whole weapon is just bad from the get go. I can tell you right now how to fix it. Make it so archers gambit works when you aim if you do that it would be amazing so if anyone is thinking of going for this weapon don't bother because it's just trash.

It's the second most trash pinnacle reward. Oxygen is still king of the garbage pile. So trash infact that I'm not even confident that the up coming scout buff will make it viable. We shall see.

It's more like a trophy or a thing to get out of the way rather than a weapon. I'm grinding for breakneck fully knowing I won't use it.

2 OdpowiedziThe only bow worth using is the Monarch, but it's an energy exotic, so you can't use anything fun with it like chaperone or recluse.

I said the same thing at first. After I learned how to use it I regretfully must admit I was completely wrong. The bow is ridiculously good because of opening shot which continuously resets because of the bow reload mechanic. The archers gambit is challenging to get off and honestly would be great if it was just a hipfire kill instead of a hipfire headshot. Great as a normal bow difficult as a pinnacle.

I already have a solar burn bow from Crimson Days. No need for another. Skipping the Hush pinnacle quest.

5 OdpowiedziFreehand grip mod try slapping one of those on it. I agree hard to actually get it to proc. Very disgusting in crucible when it works though.

9 OdpowiedziThe whole point of archer's gambit is that it's a risk to not aim, hence the name gambit. The whole theme of Hush as a weapon is taking the risky hip fire shot when it's reasonable, and getting a strong bonus as a result. Taking that away is like taking away reversal of fortune from Revoker. Besides, it's a pretty good bow. Like many pinnacle weapons that people say are bad, it's more the weapon type in general that's the problem. Hush itself is one of the best bows available. Also, use a hip fire mod. If you're not, you're using it wrong.

No, it's actually fantastic. You just need to get used it. Bear in mind, once you've activated Archers Gambit, ADS will also get the increase draw speed for the duration, so you can get fast precise shots off as well. You should be hip firing Bows anyway, they have the best hip fire in the game, very little accuracy loss, and you get a wider view and radar.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Doctor_Roidberg: 8/21/2019 6:15:32 AMAlready bothered. I use it in PvP. Oathkeepers + Hush + Quick Access Sling mod + Last Word = the ultimate passive AND aggressive play style. Why Hush? The accuracy stat on Hush and Opening Shot make it very, very hard to miss a crit.

I just got it today actually. I noticed that that when you are in the presence of alot of enemies, it can be somewhat difficult to land that first hip fire shot, but once you do then its hard to stop! I need some more practice with it but overall it is a solid bow.

Uhh are you on a controller? Hip fire head shots are not that hard on m&k. I don't have hush so can't comment on that now specifically but on other bows if you have hip fire perk and quick access sling mod with a 110 hand cannon it is super easy to two shot someone in crucible.
