I ran a non cheese run yesterday and got the subsistence rampage ausi again, but...uhh... I really just use anything...as long as I can stay alive and look those ¡blamorangs! In the eyes while I maul their faces with 45 caliber justice.
Edit: I mean, turn on juicy shader, put a few smgs on the wall, a hammer and a rocket somewhere in there. Remove the boss fight and just queue an infinite lobby where you jump out and get replaced any time. Only an old school BR to hold from the start, and maybe the magnum...
I'd still play. Because....

I dont mind loot, but I dont need it to enjoy PLAYING VIDEO GAMES, especially when there is so much else to do in Destiny.
If you have to nitpick your freetime and make believe productivity, you're clenching ass, not having fun...but that dopamine tells you otherwise. Too bad your heart is heavy with burden.
I feel sorry for those who cant even enjoy playing a game.
Go find out how to have fun in halo forge, solo.
When you conquer that challenge, you will be able to enjoy anything game related.

2 OdpowiedziI just started playing again after 3 or 4 months away, got up to 690 to play menagerie, played one time last nite, now it says " players do not have access to this activity". Is this timed event or what? Seriously I don't know. What's up?

1 OdpowiedźThought about firing up the Menagerie yesterday just for the mods, but then I decided that I really don’t need anymore “Largesse” mods. The single drop might not be cancer if the drops were a little less weighted toward the worst mods and weapon perks. Later on in the evening I buckled and jumped into Menagerie and 45 mins later my fears were confirmed when a “Largesse” mod dropped. I just wish the drops were more random in nature.

5 OdpowiedziGood for you. Now you just need to provide statistical evidence that shows that the population didn't drop off as drastically as many of us predicted it would. Point of reference; I haven't been in there since the day before the patch, and even then, I was put in by myself on the first attempt. But you do you. Good luck with the Guantlet.

7 OdpowiedziYou're like me. You're what I call a "gameplay motivated" player. I bet when you play strikes you seldom speed run. Because you enjoy the act of shooting the aliens as you play through the strike. But the reality is that everyone is different. Fact is that some people are "loot-motivated'. They play for the rush and enjoyment of getting loot, and the actual game play (and the enjoyment derived from it) is a lesser issue. These are the people who immediately stop playing the moment they get the loot itme or items they want. They are the people who will grind away at somethign very tedious for hour after hour if its the most efficient way of getting the item tha that they want. So while little has changed to reduce the appeal of Menagerie to gameplay motivated playes.....its still a lot of fun to play...... ...fixing the chest glitch was a blow to the appeal of The Menagerie to people who are purely loot-motivated.

14 OdpowiedziDisclaimer- I enjoy the menagerie and I’m just playing devils advocate, so with that said.... Maybe people are upset because it’s called season of opulence and not season of thinly spread rewards. Just some food for thought.

Don't know if they buffed the rolls with the new patch or what, but I played yesterday and in one run I finally got an Outlaw, Rampage Austringer. I opened that chest many times with the glitch before patch, and never even got close to a good roll on an Austringer. So there's that, maybe, may just be a coincidence.

Forged over 200 Austringers. Still no outlaw, rampage, accurized. I've gotten close, but that's it. It is fun, but I'd really like to be met in the middle. I'd also like the swords to drop from the chests as well, but eh. If they can't at least do that, I'll probably just get my Shadow title and be done. Player time investment should be reflected in the reward in a looter shooter.
