The range has a drop off damage the further any enemy is and just using it on a red bar body shots barely does anything at all.
Weapons like that that are unique shouldn't have been left behind.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Jebus Kreist: 7/5/2019 3:40:22 AMRapid-Fire Snipers in general need a PVE buff. But as someone else said they should work on expanding/renewing old content to bring it back into relevancy. Just modifying the difficulty/level cap, adding more weapons while retiring the old ones, and especially enabling random rolls would make EP massively relevant again.
-
2 OdpowiedziIkelos SR would still be good if they didn't massacre Box Breathing.
-
1 OdpowiedźRapid fire sniper rifles in PvE need a buff all around.
-
Just pop the level difficulty on the activities that drop these and let people grind out updated versions with better stats and mod slots.
-
Here, I'll make buff percentages for all the sniper frames: -High Impact: Buff bodyshot damage by 20%, buff headshot damage by 15% -Adaptive: Buff bodyshot damage by 25%, buff headshot damage by 20% -Rapid-fire: Buff bodyshot damage by 40%, buff headshot damage by 35% These are all PVE buffs, not PVP buffs.

4 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika UncleObscene: 7/5/2019 6:47:08 AMDon't worry fellow guardian..you can regrind it in D3. It is kind of shallow for Bungie to take EP, Breytech and Vance's weapons and just toss them to the abyss. It was an integral part of each season that we grinded and played . Its like when Shadowkeep releases..... Forge, Gambit Prime and Menegerie weapons and armor were to be left behind. Which is why Bungie is taking Destiny in the direction its going. Way it is looking going forward... Everything prior to the New paid content will be Free, as the prior content outside Exotic/pinnacle quests are being rendered useless really, other to garner light level..but you know catch up tokens will be coming for a price or maybe they will continue with the blue catch up gear for new players if there are any. Shame is there are going to be more players leaving, than new players joining no matter what they do at this stage of Destiny's lifecycle. I cant even find a reason for a new player to even jump into Destiny where it stands today and with direction its headed. Shooting mechanics maybe... Bungie should have thought of all these variables thoroughly before winging their franchise as it seems where it stands now. But who are we kidding ... Bungie don't even playtest their own game before releasing things into it. What's crazier is that they cant creatively extend the Destiny Universe lore to its playerbase.... that they created.

4 OdpowiedziThey simply need to bring EP to Y2, is all. But instead of bringing old content forward, they continually abandon it.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika TFL Washington: 7/5/2019 1:15:11 PMI feel like all snipers could use a damage buff in PvE. There's never a reason to use one over a shotgun with Trench Barrel. Anytime I try, I just feel like I could be so much more effective with the Ikelos shotgun or the shotgun from SotP.

If they didn’t nerf box breathing then snipers might of had a place in pve loadouts but nah they won’t change it.

5 OdpowiedziUnnerf box breathing

11 OdpowiedziYou took the time to spell out the ikelos sniper name? That’s cool but it really shows that You just never quit do you? Took out Ghaul. Woke up the traveler, and now half of what I hear on the streets is how much you and your clan are making a difference. That's why I started this whole clan thing in the first place. People are still waiting for the vanguard to solve all their problems for them. People like you are making a difference. No pressure.

So many good weapons have just been left behind and forgotten about. I miss my mannanan sr4, some of the mercury weapons are cool asf and pretty interesting and unique, I don’t have them on my current platform but on PS4 the 2 mercury pulses were probably my favourite weapons in the game. Would love to see them brought into year 3
-
2 OdpowiedziWhile your point of weapons like that shouldn’t be left behind, your reasoning is prettyyyy bad
Just hit headshots man
1 OdpowiedźSnipers require a minimum of skill. What are you expecting when Bungie is totally fine making grenade launchers so much more powerful than rocket launchers? Duhhh!!? The missing meme for D2 is a tank attacking a naked guy, but being wiped by the guy’s hidden little pistol. Below, one can read: “gotta play the meta!”
-
6 OdpowiedziYesssss God yess they should just introduce mods that make all the year one weapons current. Sooo many weapons suck and need a buff because of time. Or they got nerfed into the ground. The graviton lance needs a total rework it's only ok against small rank and file enimeys. They need to chnage how it shouts all togeather
-
I hope we can keep this post toward the top so we can at least get an answer from Bungie.
-
2 OdpowiedziThey buffed the drop rate for these awhile ago.

7 OdpowiedziHow about no? It's powerful enough like it is! I ought to know, I just got mine yesterday! :D It's pretty sick too! Already got a few kills in crucible with it and I suck with shotguns too! It's too bad you didn't get behind the patrol space on the Leviathan thing or even the SRL tracks on the Leviathan either, well, maybe we can help each other out and back one another, I mean, we all will benefit from more powerful shotguns and patrol space and SRL tracks on the Leviathan, heck, Bungie will make a Million bucks from it, maybe, just saying! No one loses, EVERYONE WINS! :D Think it over! Take your time!
-
4 OdpowiedziIts a pvp weapon tho well imo honestly. Almost like the beloved or supremacy.
-
I think it’s intended to headshot red bars in the crucible. But with other new options, it’s just not good for anything.
-
My guess is some point during year 3 all gear will be brought up to the same standards. Similar to what the RoI did in D1. Hopefully your sniper will be addressed then.
-
Please elaborate?

11 Odpowiedzithose weapons need to stay where they belong, in Y1. new stuff is more fun. it gets boring using the same thing all the time. sure, they were great when they first came out, it was fun... but that time has come and gone. let's move forward!

Or we could all spend money on silver!!! :0
