Did a little SoO today and instead of previous years new campaigns to run, it's another season of...
Go to Nessus and kill Cabal. Now melee Vex. Now go run this lost sector.
People can say what they want about Curse of Osiris, but at least it was something new and different and I'd take that story over the nothing that exists in Y2 any day.

Agreed. Pre-ordered season pass as have been happy with D2>Year1>Forsaken Logged in for new content, tried it and logged out until next season, repeated for drifter as drifter's stuff was never for me anyway, and here I am at opulence just not feeling much drive other than reaching the light cap which is free anyway. This game and this season pass was the one that stopped my previous attitude of happily pre-ordering season passes blind. Wish my action made a blind bit of difference but I know it won't .....
-
Yeah, I agree.

6 OdpowiedziI'm dissapointed in the lack of story and lore so far Menagerie looks like a good fun time killer and it's matchmaking Raid looks good But where's the story. The Queen? Her brother? The Nine quest with the Drifter? Light vs Dark? There won't be enough to keen everyone's attention playing the same content for the same gear we had in D1 for the next 3 to 6 months No new strikes No new PVP maps I love Destiny but fear for its long term future at this rate Oh and if the leaks true were heading back to the moon IE The Dark Below 2 to re run that content
-
Yep. I haven’t felt like a guardian in almost a year now. I feel like an errand boy. Activities just for the sake of it is NOT engaging at all in my opinion. I’ll take actual story with periods of drought over standard at best activities with lore cards.
-
yup need story, two new strikes, two new crucible maps, yada yada
-
Agree. I quit 2 weeks before season of the drifter, returned to see if this content drop could fix the game... still pure shit with all the re-skins and nerfs... I miss D1... it breaks mi migaloo heart
-
Black armour and SoO great season pass Wild joker suck I no like gambit
-
2 OdpowiedziGet over yourself! You got damn well nearly a years worth of content for less than $30. the initial bounties take no longer than 20 mins to complete and then you have the new content! Stop complaining... don’t like it, don’t play it.
-
content is too hard to make, you should just give up on this game too like most people did
-
Agreed.

1 OdpowiedźIt's cancer. We suck. ~Bungie

I'd second that a hundred billion times and then some. Been saying this too for quite some time that it blows me away that Bungie decided to offer NO NEW story content for ALL of 2019, instead releasing Forge, Gambit and this new mess. I quit playing a month and a half ago and just deleted the game and all my guardians. It was a number of reasons, but not to mention the recent nerf to my armor and weapons, it was just too much. Good going Bungie, you truly will NEVER learn.

2 OdpowiedziThis season (so far) is just another hamster wheel. Go play grind boring old content for "Imperials", then once the chalice is fully unlocked, grind that same old content for runes. Next play the Menagerie to turn the runes into the seasonal gear/weapons. Rinse and repeat until you are completely sick of the process. Then there's the raid......which only a very small portion of the playerbase will ever even attempt. We tried it out last night. Brutal. We were all 700 or over. I remember when raids were fun....back in D1. The mechanics back then were difficult, but easy to understand. Now they are convoluted and basically just make you not want to play. Will we get raid armor that actually helps in the raid? We haven't had that since D2 year 1. What about weapons? None of the raid weapons in D2 have given you any advantage in the raids.

I got my money’s worth, it’s better than having literally nothing for a year like taken king, which people seemed to forget how much they hated the content drought. You can’t make this community happy. They’re all too small brained

Amen guardian, amen

4 OdpowiedziI hate the fact that people defend CoO from time to time. It was the worst gaming purchase i've ever made and it nearly killed the hole freacking destiny series. I don't buy it for a second that you actually think CoO is better then the annual pass. Warmind? Sure but CoO?! Brah I would pay to not play that shit over again If I had to.
-
Don't worry. As soon as the next season pass comes out that you have to buy, you will get awesome content again. Then they can release crap until the next paid one. I've got my money worth out of both games and the amount of hours I put into the first one was sickening. I haven't played the 2nd one all that much. The amount of content they have been able to recycle and pass off as new is sickening. Turning missions into strikes by putting in different enemies. Making strikes missions that just go backwards. It is continuing cycle.
-
4 OdpowiedziI'd take them as we normally got story, strikes, pvp maps etc AS WELL AS a new activity. People saying they prefer annual pass seem to forget that part, unless they're genuinely happy getting less content.

8 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika AeroWraith901: 6/5/2019 8:06:31 AMYet Menagerie, the Chalice in itself, raid (not going off of encounters exactly since I haven't done it yet but loot wise alone is better than Eater of Worlds raid lair from CoO and SoS raid lair from Warmind), kinda made me more happy than CoO as a whole. Wonder how heroic Menagerie will play out since only pre-made fireteams can run that. Granted, having the amount of cutscenes CoO would be neat but that's all I'm missing really atm.
-
28 OdpowiedziIMO, it's better then the content drought we had in D1. And it was worth it. $30 for all that? I'd 100% buy it again.
-
5 OdpowiedziNope this annual pass has been fantastic

3 OdpowiedziThis same guy wants matchmaking for raids.

12 OdpowiedziI actually enjoyed this. The QoL changes are pleasant. Took a bit to get adjusted to Pursuits tab. I'm impressed, to be honest. In my opinion, they delivered some exciting content here. The story has never made sense, so it's a non issue to me, same with shaders. I play the game for it's play style. For me, flying around with Stronhgolds and Black Talon has been extremely fun, considering the modifiers. I didn't mind the "quest steps", and the account wide addition is very much welcomed. I went from 647 to 701. Logged on 3 times last season. That's only playing on my Titan. That shows the casual friendly elements are in place. Menagerie is casual friendly, also pushes you to improve. The content is solid. Possibly worth the entire AP alone. They did a good job with this. Give credit where credit is due.
-
Is there anything to do other than the menagerie? Ill probably play it a bit until I get a beloved with snapshot or quickdraw or both, then right back to only playing pvp.

Mega bump

Your post should say going back to NOTHING.
