Eververse gets a buff!
Well guardians, they did it again! If you’ve been playing the game since year one and worked hard to get all of your items from bright engrams... sorry! You get nothing new! Well, that’s not exactly true. You can buy some silver with some cash to get some new sick items! Want to grind for them? Sorry! That’s no longer an option. Prismatic facets? Never coming back!

15 OdpowiedziDid you read the twab? Or did you go straight to idiot mode. All NEW items will be available for silver AND bright dust. The engrams will reward year one items. The new Opulence items are available for direct purchase for silver or bright dust on a rotating by week basis. Cosmo and dmg clarified on the subReddit. They also mentioned that next weeks TWAB would include a list of buffs for Opulence. This really was a good twab.

It's inconceivable to me that people would even attempt to defend the current state of eververse. The typical braindead argument is that bungie need the funds generated from eververse to fund future events/expansions, how exactly has this been implemented so far? By bringing back old exotics from the first game? By reskinning old armour? If anything the funds from eververse are being used to fund eververse even further, it's a cycle that's never going to end and you're going to keep getting milked like a cow. Just quit now my dudes, it's the only thing left to do. Find a new game to invest your time into, classic WoW is coming back, FFXIV is a damn good game too, there's plenty of other games out there and I recommend you play them instead.

Full-prices games that put skins in loot boxes make lots of money preying on kids. Why should Bungie be any different? So what that Bungie lost 75% of their playerbase making a little extra cash- gotta milk that cow until its empty. Then it’s time to go screw up the next good thing we enjoy. Btw, almost 1/3 of all CEO terminations in 2018 were due to ethical violations. I’m not sure what they are teaching these kids in business school but they are on the fast track to turning this country against capitalism- they ruin everything in the name of money.

i think they need to sort out issues with game before they start holding there hand out for more money but like EA, Ubisoft and bethesda they don't care. all these micro transactions line the pockets of shareholders and CeOs. the hard working staff don't see the money made.

Once you break that "Fear Of Missing Out" (FOMO) at the Eververse store, it becomes a lot easier to take long breaks from Destiny in favor of better entertainment options. FOMO is the primary emotion that allows Tess to even exist in her current configuration. Bungie is doubling down on this by making more items "limited time" to play on this emotion. Break the FOMO, break the Eververse...

It’s like a circle of stupid !!! They pissed off all their players so it cost them sales . Then they add notsocleververse to make up the lost revenue . But they just jab their players again with rip off pay only items that pisses them off yet again . So the people with money to burn can have an exclusive dance , but then 30 casuals think why buy the next pass or content drop Bungie isn’t offering anything to me ? No strikes , no maps , no new game modes , no story , no Gear , ?!?! What the hell is the point . So that 10$ the emote made for Bungie costs them 100s of bucks in the long run ?!? Why would I play ? To get a dance , sparrow , or ghost that just does what the other 100 I got before does lmfao . This isn’t fortnite ! Destiny isn’t filled with little moron kids with Mommy and Daddy’s money to burn . We want content . Story , Zones , Maps , Strikes . Keep your dance lmao 10$ for a emote lol I’ll emote bending over so you can kiss my ass Bungie .

As for prismatic fascets, their removal was generally well received, and was, in my opinion, a positive change. They were removed because, unless you got lucky, there was no guarantee of getting the thing you wanted. Oh, and you can still purchase items with bright dust, which you can still get from bounties Edit: while they never explicitly stated whether or not the 'greatest hits' would replace new items, it's safe to assume they won't, as new ornaments and a shell were shown in the twab, the shell and 2 ornaments in a picture previewing some new items, and a legendary ornament in the bright dust section in the new eververse u.i.
