Ok ok from what I can gather and what I’ve read this season is gonna involve the cabal. But since Outbreak Perfected is here I have a big theory.
Remember back on Nessus when Failsafe said
“Accessing Node 9875A. File header: SIVA Project. Files locked behind Epsilon Theta encryption A, D, and G. No decryption schema found."
Failsafe Mention Siva, Siva was made during the “Golden Age” also when the Exodus Black launched and crashed. Long shot, could they had Siva aboard the ship and had it safely contained?
We know that Siva is somewhat gone on earth after the Wrath of the Machine Raid. But this Siva wasn’t on earth at the time so their is sill Siva out there, especially with the rise of Outbreak Perfected.
Furthermore on how the cabal gets involved. When the Leviathan came to Nessus and ate chunk of the planet. Remember that lead to the plot of the first Raid Lair. Could the Leviathan ate the “was contained Siva” and is now possibly spreading inside the Leviathan?
I feel strong with this theory due to that bungie has hinted Uldren’s return back at his old ship that crashed in Ma'adim Subterrane Lost Sector.
(I couldn’t find the quote from the scannable).
But my conclusion though
- Siva is probably back
- If so Leviathan ate Siva
- Siva on Leviathan spreading
-
Some scannable on Nessus mentions a digital component to the red trees. I think it’s implied that it’s vex tech and apparently the vex were the ones terraforming the planetoid, but I sometimes wonder if the initial story was that of SIVA doing the terraforming of Nessus. Not sure how they would incorporate SIVA now, but your version OP sound fine to me.

2 OdpowiedziI’m dreading the thought of Spliced Cabal... Spliced Cabal Tank...
Since Callus’s robots are robots, SIVA would have almost no problem taking them over. And he had what looked like hundreds in the end chest room
-
It was such a missed opportunity in d1 to make Siva like the symbiote from Spiderman and Venom, making it infect and corrupt enemies and guardians alike. I really hope D3 will use this opportunity to actually make it an actual threat that killed off the “fabled” Iron Lords instead of just Red colored enemies and AIDS robots

1 OdpowiedźSIVA was designed to be a colonising tool so yes, SIVA was on the Exodus Black. Whether or not it was destroyed during their crash landing is a different matter but every Exodus ship should have had SIVA on board. As for the SIVA on Earth in the cryptarch’s vault, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Vanguard confiscated the Outbreak Prime from us and locked it up in that vault, which is what the Fallen stole. Kinda odd we get the weapon straight up instead of quest, don’t you think? In any case, SIVA requires a directive to begin consuming things. If the Leviathan is being consumed by SIVA then it has to be the work of someone on board. Interesting if it’s Calus but even more so if it’s someone else. I agree that Outbreak Prime returning is definitely some sort of foreshadowing, though. It wasn’t a common enough weapon, let alone a large fan favourite, to be considered for reintroduction. It’s rather suspicious...

That’d be super cool
-
Wow I was having the same exact thought when outbreak perfected was released, hopefully if it does work out this way then we get more then just a harder reskin of the raid

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Venium: 5/11/2019 1:32:19 PMI mean, if we were all paying attention for those couple seconds in the D2 trailer (Very Old), there is a Sivafied Vandal hitting a Guardian, and it's on Nessus. Soooo... 👍

To answer a few of your questions; all of the colony ships (yes, that means the Exodus Black) carried SIVA. Whether it will do something to the Leviathani think is a good question and not because it would somehow be "resistant", but how the SIVA was programmed or not. SIVA can be programmed to do a huge number of things, but if it's just let loose with basic, "Consume. Replicate. Destroy." It'll gobble up everything in and the Leviathan.
-
There were siva themed strikes in the beta for nesses got cut.
-
9 OdpowiedziA few points: •If the Vex could find Siva, study it and attempt to make something similar, as they have done by trying to make something self-replicate (and failing) •Meaning the Siva the Vex have is dormant, and it hasn't done anything yet. •Leviathan accidently ate some dormant clusters. •There are Ahamkara bones on the Leviathian. •Imagine a Wish Dragon, made from tiny nanites held together by whispering bones. •The new 6 player activity has the codename Dragonslayer and Penumbra's description: ONLY THE BRAVE WILL LEARN WHAT LURKS IN THE SHADOW. ONLY THE STRONG WILL SURVIVE ITS TEETH. bada bing, it's as simple as that.

This season is about calus and the source of his power.

3 OdpowiedziRemember back when content felt new and exciting. When it happened for the first time and we loved it. I don't it's been that long. I keep seeing so much recycled content I don't think they are even trying anymore. The universe is as expansive as your imagination. Give us a new threat a new enemy. Maybe one so extreme the cabal go oh hell maybe we should work together here. This recycled content sucks. It's like wiping your @$$ with one sheet of paper then saving it cause you can flip it over and use the other side later.

I was really hoping we were finished with Leviathan. The gold and purple motif really got old. But I suppose the signs are pointing in that direction....
-
Did you read the lore tab on the Outbreak Perfected?

3 OdpowiedziWe will have to see but the name of the raid Crown of Sorrow implies that Siva will not be a part of it. We already have pretty clear indications of what the term sorrow is related to in Destiny. Unless perhaps we see some kind of Siva Hive or the term Sorrow doesn’t carry its usual meaning. However that doesn’t mean that other things during the Season of Opulence won’t involve Siva in some other way. Looking forward to finding out.

8 OdpowiedziYou're right theres a lot of evidence to support this in some ways. The Leviathan hasn't eaten SIVA yet though. There have also been teases of SIVA for a while now. 1) I find it awesome how this mission teases Eramis. It would be really odd if they teased her and then did nothing with her anytime soon. Especially since D2Y3 is more than likely to be Savathun. 2) The Zero Hour mission is about Eramis stealing SIVA. They failed. 3) SIVA is on Nessus. Fallen are too. Eramis seems to he recruiting from the House of Dusk to reform House of Devils. It wouldnt be impossible to think she would have some of them access it on the Exodus Black. 4) the second part of the quest mentions something about the Void. We know Calus has seen the Void or something like that. Calus is currently on the Leviathan outside of Nessus. 5) we were teased with SIVA symbols on the Tangled Shore. I know some people say it isn't, but it just looks too similar. 6) in that recent comic or book that bungie published, there was a Splicer Captain in the Reef. 7) Also, originally Nessus was supposed to be infected with SIVA. So many connecting points. I do think we will see SIVA in Opulence. Just not on the Leviathan.

4 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika IceApfel: 5/10/2019 6:25:15 AMYes, there is SIVA on the Exodus Black, but it’s dormant. It would need to be reactivated and given a directive to spread. Moreover, the Exodus Black hasn’t been eaten, so there’s no way its on the Leviathan. Concept art for Penumbra even suggests that the Leviathan will close its maw. I don’t think SIVA will be involved in Penumbra. It really wouldn’t fit. This is about Calus, and Calus alone.

3 Odpowiedzi"Crown of Sorrow" is making this theory unlikely to be true.
-
1 OdpowiedźI think the next dlc will hit to diva but tbh I think the raid itself says what will happen crown of sorrow? Claus is going to be taken and the cabal need our help to kill him and that will be how the cabal unite with us for d3
-
Pretty sure it was known a while back that the ship had Siva. There was also that footage of Siva on Nessus strike but wasn't in final game
-
Imagine. About 1000 Calus Siva Robots. It could totally happen, the leviathan gets infected and calus’ robot replicants get infected. And it could work. To be fair we are almost 400 light above OG robo calus so an army of siva calus’ would totally work as a normal type enemy.
-
3 Odpowiedzi<Exodus crash site hasn't been reached by the Leviathan yet. Therefore, SIVA was not released on Nessus or the ship that orbits it. Nevertheless, it's a dormant cluster, with no directive as of now. I'd rather find out more about Calus and his so-called power before I get just another threat. We already have Savathûn on the horizon and the Deep coming up close behind.>

I said this 2 weeks ago. If you think so...and i think so... It must be true.
-
3 OdpowiedziI. Want. SIVA. Cabal.
-
I can see that

Dang good theory my guy. Would be sweet
