Who needs glimmer? You can get glimmer but doing any activity in the game. If you want to promote people to play gambit, gambit prime and reckoning let us get infamy points when you turn in synths or you can also include a couple of weapons in rotation exchangeable for a couple hundred synths. Anything but glimmer.
Edit.
So far really good ideas.
Synths for Enhancement cores.
Synths for Synths on a 3:1 ratio.
Synths for weapons related to gambit.
Synths for reputation.
Keep the ideas coming.

1 OdpowiedźYour title implies the opposite of what your post is about. Your title made me think that you want to purchase synths with infamy points rather than glimmer.

I went to sell a stack last night, what I found was horrible. The exchange rate for glimmer is so bad. It isn’t even worth selling them. It definitely needs some work. Good ideas thus far

1 OdpowiedźYou're going to need more glimmer to get cores soon.

1 OdpowiedźHow about synths for Special and Power Ammo Synths?

7 OdpowiedziGetting invader synths is a problem no one is speaking about. And they should, they are definitely harder to get than any other synth. I've been getting 7-13 guardian kills more than any other teammate on every match and still I even double the amount of synths of every other class but invaders. We need a consistent way to earn synths of the role we want.

2 OdpowiedziThese are ideas Bungie needs to take seriously, no more streamer summits! Do some polls Read some forums Live stream or post why you can’t do some things the community wants/asks about.

how about synth for cores

1 OdpowiedźRather trade in Synths for different types. Like say trading in Sentry and/or Collector Synths for Invader Synths. It doesn't have to be an equal exchange rate, but it would help if you're farming specific perks on armor for one role(or for vanity reasons in my case). Especially if you know you'd either rather not play another role, or just decide to focus on that at a later date. In which case, you'd be able to trade in your extra Synths from your previous focus to help in your grind for the next one.
-
2 OdpowiedziBungie mentioned this is a method to dispose of synths quickly, kind of like we use cryptarch for shaders.
-
1 OdpowiedźI agree. Currently trying to farm invader set with good perks but rng keeps screwing me over
-
3 OdpowiedziI hate the close range glimmer thingi. They should just make every enemy drop a set amount of glimmer based on its type(red bar, yellow ect) thats like common feature in most mmorpg. There shouldn't have been a grind for glimmer in the first place. And the glimmer limit for a game in 2019 is so low. Gamers love to overflow themselfs with in game currency in games(or is it just me?).
-
1 OdpowiedźBungie already said it isn’t meant to reward you much. It’s just a way to dispose of synths
-
Yea, I really dont understand that decision. Man, I could really use 100 glimmer! *said no one, EVER*

This is a great idea

1 OdpowiedźSynths are not that easy to get, and you can only exchange them for glimmers? Hmmmm... Sold them for reputation would be indeed more logical.
