match making for the reckoning is poorly designed.
You get into the reckoning. You're above the well. You put in your mote. Someone backs out because they think they only have 3 people. You jump down and there is only 3 players...and can't finish. So you back out. Try again. get into a match with 2 people, you're the 3rd. Why is it so hard to match 4 people? Because not everyone starts at the "starting line".
The mote insertion should simply be a screen before match making. insert mote in the screen, then all start at the same time so there is no backing out or matching with not enough players.
This is a mess.

The matchmaking needs to match us in orbit, then send us as a fire team to the destination. Matchmaking a game already in progress needs to be removed. Simple fix, is simple.

I tried it for the first time tonight and and have to agree. It’s the worst thought out idea because it’s totally designed for fireteams and it just leaves solo’s literally by themselves.

1 OdpowiedźOr you match in with only 30 seconds left. The 3 others fail, then leave. Now you are there alone and no one matches in.

It's just another activity created as Bungie's way of giving a huge middle finger to solo players. But on the plus side, the activity is pretty much pointless since there really isn't any worthwhile loot to be earned from it.

No it is not I beat it last night being solo! The problem isn't matchmaking the problem is if you get matched with the wrong supers or characters! Like last night I was a tether hunter and got matched with 2 titans and another tether hunter and guess what happened failed 3 times in a row one Titan leaves and got protocol warlock and beat it twice in a row!

Starts you alone Starts you with 1 guy halfway through trying to solo, so you have to wait 3 mins, then you have 2 guys whooooppeeee Starts, and 1 guys afk, another's finding lore Starts, and 2 guys are 603 And you want me to play this 6 times, 6! To get 1 power drop, that'll target my highest slot (again), mmmmm ok. Yeah, I'm out.

I have to write this here: people need to stop reviving when the big knights are right there slamming, I really don't want to half to sit through another 30 sec timer.

Yup. I always feel bad for the 4th guardian when I'm in a fireteam of 3 and we decide we're done and leave. Playing solo is super frustrating too.

Went in and didn't deposit mote because I didnt know you have to deposit it into the same slot. Next game I deposited the mote and I didnt realize I was alone so I tried and failed and I left into orbit. I was so sad because I thought my mote was gone for good, like a "bet" but I was happy it returned to me. So that's good. Went onto do Reckoning again, and the 15 second revive timer, where it also teleports you up top out of the portal, when there is 30 seconds left and the boss has a sliver of health left and nobody can get a line of sight on the boss without entering an onslaught of bullet hell.. The funny thing is that it isn't even that difficult, it's just waaaaay too unforgiving for no reason. :( Went from the Greatest experience ever with Gambit Prime to one of the Worst with Reckoning.

2 OdpowiedziIf I had to guess, I would say they designed it somewhat poorly so they can tell everyone they were right about not wanting to introduce matchmaking into activities. I would still take poor matchmaking over none though as at least I am able to get the powerful for doing a handful of Reckoning matches each week.

2 OdpowiedziIt is a horrible mode that is ruining the game. When asking for worthwhile loot from Gambit matches I don't remember requesting another mode to waste hours in to get the gear I wanted.

It would be great to choose to go alone too but only to allow players to go after the lore on the drifters ship
