Attempting to shame people for what they choose to use in a video game...wonderful.
Also, you're a bit hypocritical as this was your reply to a suggestion of making Luna and NF exotic. "I don't even have either and I disagree. Outplay them, don't just complain". Yet here you are...complaining.

When all you see upon joining a multiplayer game is several people using the exact same loadout, then you know what weapons people [u]need[/u] to use just to win. In a game with so many different gun archetypes and options yet people feel a need to use what others use... that's just brainless. And yes, I probably did say to outplay them (why you stalking bro)... I do outplay these loadouts. No where in this post do I complain because I struggle. I post to trigger tryhards tbh

Uh huh, so trying to trigger "tryhards" is better than your hypocritical nonsense? Just another troll making a pointless bait post. And I don't think looking at one of your past replies is stalking. You just don't like your nonsense to be called out for what it is. But by all means, continue in your attempt to shame people for what they choose to use...in a video game. Because that absolutely doesn't speak volumes about you.

I didn't say any of what I mentioned above needs to be nerfed... there goes your hypocrisy. This post is purely to bring attention to a problem within a game that has so many options, yet those who go hard at a game for no good reason (defined tryhard) use the same loadout. When statistics show that a majority of crucible kills on most days are some of what's mentioned above (Dust Rock Blues) or rather, when every game you join you see this loadout being used, it's a toxic meta being promoted in a game with so much loadout potential. And I [u]will[/u] shame people for using the meta. Always. Bad enough that you can't think for yourself, but even worse that you feel a [i]need[/i] to win. If you think you're good enough at crucible, run whatever. Otherwise, just keep playing and improve. Learn. Adapt. Don't use one single loadout or one mindset just because it's good. There's a big lack of self-improvement there.

Implying my response to a topic about Making Luna's/NF exotic is not in reference to thinking they need to be nerfed... Hypocrisy: advocating against one side of a topic but then doing/saying what you were just disagreeing with. Iunno what Google says, but just a basic definition.

You're simply trying too hard at this point. Remember, you're the guy attempting to shame people about a video game. I simply cannot take you the least bit seriously. I can however, have a chuckle at your expense. I'm not particularly proud of this, but it is what it is.

I'm just trying to exhaust what little energy you have left to make you realize your responses aren't contributing to the topic either, let alone dissuading me from my opinion: metas are for people that can't think for themselves. I'm not shaming people for "playing a video game." You're generalizing my words to make me seem ignorant and close-minded. If you actually stayed to the point of the post and discussed [i]why[/i] I'm wrong then these responses wouldn't be so hostile.

Ok, but explain what, "tryhard," means. I see that term used often on this forum. What's its opposite, "barely try?" If you use what you prefer to use when you play, why can't other people use what they prefer? And I get that some are truly punks and use account recovery to obtain weapons they aren't actually skilled enough to earn on their own, but I have to believe more people actually just earn those guns for themselves. But if a weapon kicks ass in crucible, regardless of meta or if some cant compete against them, why shouldn't people use them? Personally, I want the people I play with, to do the best they can. And not artificially handicap themselves because this community thinks the best weapons are too OP.

[u]Tryhard:[/u] a player in a video game who puts too much emphasis on [i]winning[/i] by any means and goes all out to do so. They typically forget what the purpose of a game is: to have fun. With so many guns to earn/drop for people to use, there shouldn't [b]be[/b] "artificial handicaps." I certainly don't think of using anything that isn't "good" as a handicap. I usually run what I feel like and end up topping to scoreboard anyway. Even if I was at the bottom of the board with 5 kills in clash, I would still have enjoyed myself, playing with weapons I enjoy. If you just so happen to run the loadout mentioned above and enjoy using it, regardless of wins/loss, that's great. I'll edit the post to clarify, but basically my point is this: [b]too many people run this exact loadout just to win, get kills, because it's"good" or to "get better."[/b] A meta is nothing more than people collectively being close-minded for kills and wins. Nothing more.
