Pretty much in every way.

*oh man..top 3 trending with 21 total likes. Now I dont want a cookie for trending, but I do want one after 4 months of you guys playing Anthem and you all return to Destiny when you realize I was right.
****ok what I meam by 21 total likes is that its funny how this post is top trending with so many downvotes. Yes I probably do not understand how things trend...
**I really enjoy this forum. I think we are at a good place as far as intellect on here. Thx everyone for commenting.
***Shameless plug for Bungie to give us a break with the Dreaming City RNG.. Im not going to get the lore and egg stuff if I dont yet have the ghost and sparrow. Its enough already.

Compared to the Demo, yes.

2 OdpowiedziEveryone forgetting how empty and broken D1 was at launch is comical. D2 just stunk out loud at launch. Once they get it fixed, I will enjoy anthem as well as destiny.
-
3 OdpowiedziEveryone game that comes out is gonna kill destiny yet we all end up back here I spent more time playing this universe than every other game I have ever played combined it would be weird to ever leave it
-
2 OdpowiedziThe fact that we're evening comparing a month-old Anthem to a 4-year-old Destiny definitely speaks to what has happened to Destiny. 4-year head start and we have Black Armory. Yes, I've been here since D1. I don't think Anthem with kill Destiny. Come opening day numbers will surge but eventually level out. I don't find Destiny fun any more so I'm seldom playing it at this point. The lack of exotic rolls killed it for me. Anthem is different, but it's something new to play. I won't miss Destiny. Maybe in the future the Devs will get RNG right and provide a better carrot to chase.

4 OdpowiedziAnthem trash. Dont waste your money.

9 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika jnikoley: 2/3/2019 2:24:44 PMI just played the anthem demo, and I have to agree. They took the worst things in destiny, e.g. bullet sponge enemies, and made it their main focus. Gun play is very lackluster, and no PVP… I’ll take a pass.

1 OdpowiedźAnthem might be a good game in about a year, if EA let's it last that long. EA tends to quit supporting games and dismantling studios if they don't immediately see big returns.

1 Odpowiedź1st of all competition is a good thing. I'm glad anthem and division 2 are coming. My thoughts after playing anthem demo are mixed. It's obviously got a long way to go. I'm not crazy about the characters or story at all. No sense of purpose. Also I'm more of an fps guy than a 3rd person shooter. Graphics are pretty good although choppy. Javelins are pretty cool. Think I will stick with destiny for awhile.

4 months? I give it 2 weeks.

37 OdpowiedziSorry to hurt your feelings, but Anthem was bought today^^ To me seems to be a really cool game and the fact it's meant to be supported with content over a long time does help the game and did to me even more. Destiny i always played, but it was already Fallout 76 that helped stopped doing so, as the only days i log in to Destiny is Friday and Saturday doing the raids and that's it! I'm sick for long enough already with the most incapable, most stupid moron devs in the gaming industry that run a game, where they artificially make it short lived by leaving everything behind after just a few months, s**t on ALL effort and TIME ppl have invested for a grind that couldn't be beaten by any other game when it comes to dull, flat, boredom. I've always said that Destiny has potencial and could be a great game, but unfortunately it's run by a bunch of uber monkeys that somehow found their way into Bungle's HQ, doing their best to ruin the players' game experience and lie them straight into their faces. See the mountain? You can go there. Last thing we want is to see how players have to leave their precious guns behind Auto-rifle buffs by 4% (hahaha, lmao^^ the infamous 0.04^^) You have to leave behind all your gear and exotics, because you know, the cabal destroyed the tower and vaults hahaha^^ just to bring back all old stuff again, charge you for it and on top use old content on more than one wqay to have you grind AGAIN for said stuff^^ I'd laugh if it wouldn't be so sad lol^^ No, personally, i truly hope that Anthem is the game! As i doubt that they are as stupid as Bungle, using customization as major grind options, lmao, and doubt they let you farm weeks to upgrade just one set of armor^^ To me, it's already Fo76 that s***s on both of them, although i know ppl will call me crazy now^^ but to have Anthem in addition, i'm just happy that there's things that save me a bit from wasting more time on Destiny, grinding for crap that becomes quicker obsolete than a blink of an eye ,) But no problem you love it, and wish you the best fun for grinding another 20 midas, 30 hard lights, 25 queensbreakers bows^^ I'll still keep playing Destiny...but couldn't promise for how long...and right now i see NO CHANCE for me to EVER buy D3, enter the most stupid and fruitless hamsterwheel in gaming history again. Raids were to me ever rhe reason keep playing, but as the trend is goind rapidly down in case of quality odf those, even this seems to vanish into thin air. Btw, although my txt of wall, i can't take and don't take you any serious alien, as to me you're like a chicken. Changing mind about this game more often, than a small fish in a pond the swimming direction^^ Today critical, the next second a bungle fanboy lmao^^ maybe try to decide what you truly feel or think about a thing and act like a man, not like chicken little^^

2 OdpowiedziWho cares? Hope they’re both good. Why the hell not?

13 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Grimey Dark: 2/3/2019 3:21:08 PMYeah, so I played the Anthem demo last night. And even though I hoped for it to be better than Destiny, there is no way in hell that Anthem will be the Destiny killer a lot of people predicted it to be. It's nowhere near Destiny to be honest. Gameplay wise. Story and content wise I don't know yet.
-
3 OdpowiedziDon’t know if you are trolling but I actually love destiny. No satire. I played anthem and it’s ok at best, granted it was just a demo but nothing made me want to come back to the game once I logged off.
-
I remember when a trending post had to be more than 3000.
-
I was super excited about Anthem until I played like 20 minutes of the demo. It's basically Mass Effect Open World. Not super excited about it anymore. The actual game play is nowhere near Destiny.
-
They’re kind of competitors but not entirely. Anthem is third person vs first and seems to be more like a Mass Effect style game. I expect to play both
-
I don't know about Anthem. I haven't tried it out yet. But I agree with your second edit - You don't see many from the "Get Gud Bro Brigade" anymore; the ninjas seem to have laid off of nailing every little thing (I haven't received a warning forever); And the old trend of people leaving hateful comments on posts that they don't agree with, seems to have mostly been replaced by a trend of down voting instead. Though you still run across a knucklehead now and then, things seem to be in a pretty good place here in the forums.

3 OdpowiedziIt's an awesome game dude! BioWare can cater to all the casual players(like me) that Bungie lost.(Which totals to about half a million.) There is matchmaking for everything: Strongholds(think Destiny Raids) Missions(think Strikes) and Freeplay! Two of my friends and I, along with a rando player, beat two Strongholds yesterday, In like four hours! Best gaming experience of my life!
-
5 OdpowiedziI understand the trolling, but you can fly in anthem. I think that means it wins by default.
-
Well i dont know if anyone knew that this was possible..... But ill be playing both🤣🤣🤣

1 OdpowiedźAnthem and Destiny play out completely differently. I actually enjoyed Anthem demo/beta much more than Destiny 2 beta. Well, when I got to play it..... the bugs man, the bugs. Graphics are stunning. The flying mechanic is amazing. Let me tell you, the Colossus is SUPER fun and does EVERYTHING with authority. It ridiculously fun lol. The gameplay is near opposite of Destiny focusing on abilities rather than gunplay. That may turn some players away. But hey, you can't please everyone. The story seems interesting enough. And the difficulty was actually kind of challenging. The bosses are sponges, yes, but you're too busy blowing stuff up that you don't even notice. Or at least I didn't. I haven't been that excited for combat in a video game in ages. I felt like I was experiencing Skyrim again for the first time. All in all, if they fix the bugs regarding networking and experience, it will be an excellent buy. Expecting one game go please everyone and deliver everything gaming has to offer is silly. It's a great game to go back and forth from Destiny with. Only a silly goose would play one game and one game only.

2 OdpowiedziI tried to remain unbiased when playing through the demo, and here were my thoughts. The movement system is excellent in Anthem. While it started out a little clunky, it really grew much smoother as I got used to it. The movement in destiny has never seemed super amazing, but it accomplishes it’s purpose well enough. That being said, I found the gunplay in the Destiny games to be exponentially better. The weapons in anthem just don’t seem as effective. I understand that the game is more ability oriented, but the guns just felt like peashooters. Also, the demo was packed to the brim with glitches. Infinite loading screens, tons of texture inconsistencies, and gigantic frame drops (at least on console). This could just be a demo thing though. In conclusion, I think Anthem will succeed in its own right, but will not kill destiny by any means.

Destiny - 4.5 years of player input and development plus development years before release Anthem - not yet released and development years before release Destiny is repeat content each week. 3 strikes, 5 crucible, 5 gambit, 3 heroic adventures, 1 planet flashpoint and a harder strike they call nightfall but it's exactly the same with bullet sponges. This gets tedious. Raids that have no depth and apart from wanting the weapons have no need of repeat plays. Anthem has a content roll out to be announced I enjoyed Anthem as I did destiny at release Guess I may play both games but is that allowed by the BDF?, seems not on here it's only black or white no grey areas with them or you it seems. Shout out loud but it's only your opinion and we all have our own

2 Odpowiedzilol well umm I only played a little of the demo but in that short time my character spoke more words than all of my D2 time so there's that....
