The last word quest has more PvE stuff then PvP stuff. To top it off the PvP parts of the quest aren’t bad. My K/D is trash and I got through it.

If you don’t play pvp, then you don’t need the gun. It won’t give much in pve.

The quest has 2 pvp objectives and 8 pve objectives. Obviously pvp catering.

They’re not catering. They just seem so insistent on having everyone play everything at some point. They try to make everyone work for the game instead of trying to make the game work for as many player types as possible. The game has attracted a wide range of player types. They need to recognize and/or acknowledge this and open the game up with multiple avenues of completion for earning things or other similar games that are far less rigid in that regard will steal players.

So should I have to play the Forges to get Exotics advertised for those particular activities? The majority of the quest isnt even crucible related. 2 steps. If you can't get past the crucible part, you won't be able to complete the ending. Persevere and remember that it's just a game, and if you need to take a break to clear your head and come back at it with a different perspective, you can.

4 OdpowiedziI am one of the core groups of players who absolutely think pvp ruins the game experience but i half agree and half disagree that it should be a strictly pvp quest step with a loss mechanic, you are forcing a much larger of players who hate/could care less about crucible and having to "get good" which takes time, i for one am not going to do the quest simply because the hardcore pvp players have an unfair advantage over the casual players: experience and reaction time, had you not had the loss mechanic there would be so many less people complaining but instead you have given hardcore pvp players a way to troll/grief players without penalty or punishment and it indefinitely keeps us casual players from being able to obtain the last word as for you hard core pvp players just try imagining it from the casual player's point of view and can you really say that this is an okay mechanic? I just simply want the hand cannon for the story and this loss mechanic for the quest involving pvp just ruins the experience for millions of players so i guess i will be waiting for bungie to either remove the loss mechanic or for joker's wild to come out because the last word was the only reason why i got on today
