Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten have ruined crucible
Title. These guns are OP. Anyone who doesn't have them has no chance to compete. Plus, 80% of the people I run into using these weapons are in a 4 or 5 stack, so they're even more likely to win.
Solution, LH and NF are acquired as pinnacle weapons in the competitive playlist. Keep them restricted to the competitive playlist so us quickplay casuals aren't fodder for all the tryhard's multikill youtube videos.

Edit 2: I like how most naysayers simply say, "Get yourself in a better position then them," or, "Play to your loadouts strengths." Like, do you not think that that's exactly what they are doing? I can't force them to play bad. Yes I can bait them into a disadvantaged team fight, which I do, but it still requires them making a mistake. Basically these posters solution is for me to play mistake free while my opponent with the superior loadout makes lots of mistakes. ffs

The gun is only as good as the person who wields it dude. I have a friend and he has lunas and he is complete utter trash with it

Idk. I took a long break from this game and just recently came back. I’d have to say the wavesplitter is probably the only gun that I feel consistently kicks my ass. The LH or NF just don’t seem as overpowered as the forums would lead someone to believe. I’m shit at this game and have the stats to prove it. Leave the damn guns alone. The guns aren’t the problem and if by a miracle I am able to get them I don’t want them nerfed

3 OdpowiedziI’ve played iron banner all day. I don’t think any Luna or not forgotten killed me in 10-12 matches. They tried but failed . I might have lost the game but I certainly didn’t loose against either of those weapons if but a couple times. I’ll give you a hint — play the long game . Keep your distance. And finally make em flinch . High caliber rounds works great for that .

I suck at pvp but I like that light level matters (finally my light means something) The iron banner experience has been really really poor this time around. I continually get matched vs 6 stacks and usually they have Luna’s or NF or they rock 6 crutches (telesto / wavesplitter). I usually get the bounties done on each of my characters and have a great experience overall. This IB I did one character and I have no interest in suffering through the experience more than once.

The argument that people are working hard for this gun are bunk too. A few nights ago I was watching my brother play in the comp playlist, and he was against a 4 stack of lunas and NF, and his team was a 3 stack, also with Luna’s. Turns out all 7 of the other players were from one clan and were just taking turns farming out the hand cannon kills for NF. That’s not skillful. You cannot say in any way, shape, or form is that the intended form of “earning” those guns. And those are the people you’re going to see running 6 stacks in quick play and never touching the comp playlist because quick play is easy stat padding when you’re sweating.

4 OdpowiedziWe rightfully earned it (unless you paid for a recov) so let us use what we earned. Starting to place restriction on certain weapons is just unreasonable and mildly stupid. Those that has the skill and went on a journey, and put in the time and efforts to acquire these guns deserve to display/show off their trophy how they want it to be. Meaning, let they play with them however they chose to. Crucible isnt meant for everyone, and not everyone is required to play Crucible. If you only want to play just the 5 match for your Powerful gear, then you can. You dont have to stay and play more. Furthermore, these guns can be counter at range. A Trust with Explosive Round place a heavy flinch factor on any weapons, including these. Just gotta play smart. Ive gone up against people that cannot land the first two or any crits with Luna/NF, which tells me that was a recov. But hey, its a pinnacle weapon, and that person didnt have the adequate skill to obtain so he/she needed assistance. Some people wish to have it for collection purposes. And im pretty sure you would like to have them as well.

While lunas is extremely easy to reach I agree that every weapon should be competitive, we were just about getting some balance in Rise of Iron and now it’s like they’ve forgot everything they learnt. PvP has never been as broken in my opinion.

Guess you forgot the Last Word or Thorn metas? Or the high rof pulse meta? Those were the worst imo because you literally couldn't use anything else or you would get shredded. The Last Word had a optimal TTK of 0.26s! makes Luna's 0.6s look slow. Is Crucible in a good place right now? Not really, is it ruined, nope.

2 OdpowiedziWell hopefully with the return of Last Word and possibly Thorn......things will even out for everyone. Having said that the same people complain that a weapon is "ruining crucible" even if they have it but don't want to use it.

1 OdpowiedźA good player will beat you regardless. Luna’s and NF are actually extremely punishing weapons if you don’t exclusively land headshots.
