Just like from D1 to D2, im 100% sure Bungie will delete everything again.
Just a heads up for you guys. All our work will be gone and new gods will rise to destroy over and over.
(I would love to see Bungie take on D3 differently than to D2 times. Let us keep one armor set, some cosmetics, emotes, a ghost and maybe our earned titles!?)
I'm still mad that Saladin didnt recognie us as Lords...

I think it goes without saying that we should all expect this. Granted I’d like the option to somehow carry forward a small amount of weapons.
-
I stopped playing more than a year ago. It sounds like d2s improved much since then. Its just too bad that it would cost so freaking much to jump back in and get caught up. Knowing that whatever progress i made would be wasted when d3 drops is a no go for this guardian. So...i'll be waiting for D3 i guess.

I just want dedicated servers and have pvp and pve weapon balancing completely independent of each other.
-
I actually hope they have a new engine, that lets them change stuff faster in game, so they can feed more content instead of continuously using same zone/adventure/mission/strike maps over and over; more of random chance of say running into another fireteam if doing a strike that happens to intersect the path of another strike (I did like when playing Destiny 2 Campaign there were 2-3 points where you played with other players coming into specific areas, felt like it was not used often enough, nor makes it clear in game that it could happen anywhere else other than patrol zones...). I hope the game loads faster, menus more responsive to enter into. I hope match making is faster for crucible, more dedicated server type thing, instead of enabling/hearing about the dreaded DoS/DDoS attacks some get. I hope they add an in game LFG type thingy, as people bitch about it all the time. Let alone an in game messaging system, for console as PC has it built in; as it's a pain to go through menus for the OS of Console to even message someone like on PlayStation: Middle right thumbstick click targeting player(or in the roster menu)>"inspect">hover over and click "view profile" >wait for it to load, then click the […] box to select send message> Wait more for the system to start a thread/convo thingy (assuming the player on other end is not blocking everyone by default)> type message> send> exit out of everything and wait for a response, then hope to god they respond in time for your question. Then they do, and wait for the system OS to pop back up to message again, and back out after sending. Lets not forget when actually receiving an invite to join on actual OS to join the fireteam. Which treats it like your not even in the same instance as the 2 people you are fireteaming with right there in same instance...resulting in more loading. I also hope the writing is better, as everyone says Destiny 1 was more serious (it kind of was), than the trash heap of the Destiny 2 Base Campaign: seriously getting our light back that fast? and should have made the without ghost after the fall in the city part longer, Curse of Osiris: Not enough Ikora/Osiris interaction, and lack of sparrows on basically equivalent of both Titan patrol zones combined was a slap in the face, ---Warmind was better if only for the Meme of Zavala's "Hello Guardian!" as there were glaring issues with pacing and storytelling (really felt like there was a missing mission, let alone we saw Xol rolling around Rasputin far before teasing him with a shard of the traveler right when we first got there...) In other words, I dread that you all will have once again scrapped a development build 1-1/2 years before release like you have the last two times. First with Destiny 1 when someone decided it was too corny or something, resulting in an earlier build of the engine all over. One that was requiring loading a whole planet/zone/whatnot to change something in an area (because someone didn't apparently code stuff modularly from the get go is my assumption based on what was stated). Then Destiny 2 which had basically same thing happen because (everyone says) Luke Smith didn't like "not for the kids/extreme casuals" direction it was going, was to blame for killing the second game midway through production, pushing it off further like what happened to Destiny 1, dumbing it down further than would keep a base coming back: then resulting in an older engine being used with almost same issues which is why it takes weeks to roll out sandbox changes for people whining about something too OP, something too weak, or something too hard to get. While the competitors Warframe and soon to be Anthem could run circles around Destiny in rollouts of fixes. And people wonder why Activision was willing to part away before the 10 years was up. They may have contributed to the problems with placing some of their people in Bungie's ranks (Like story direction head replaced by a relative to some Activision bigwig) and some other stuff, which may have contributed to the fiasco of the Eververse Engram, XP Throttling, and Questionable Emote value per silver....(I refused to buy the Iron Banner one because $10 bucks for a dull, boring emote is stupid, but I bought the "Baking Cookies" one because that took more time/effort to make, and is animated beyond holding a axe like a walking cane. Seriously no one thought to have the character model toss the axe up, have it land at an angle with blade in ground, with flames as it spun, ignite the ground have the character model either cross arms, or hands/fists on hips, standing proud, and have the crest appear, vs that lazy shit for 10 bucks, nope...)

9 OdpowiedziGood. I'm paying for a new game and want everything new instead of all the stuff I've used and places I've seen for the last 3 years.
-
3 OdpowiedziAs long as there’s a good explanation for the loss of our D2 gear, I won’t mind getting a fresh start again.

7 OdpowiedziTotal worth the trade for a full campaign with storyline. Is d3 coming out this year or next year?

We find our old guns in a portable vault somewhere hidden by Cayde just after the attack on the City. In-between D2 and D3, our current guardian mates and creates our D3 guardian. Born as children, these new guardians are much more powerful than the D2 and D1 ones (Not in the Crucible though, can't have that, too much variability).

<I mean... the Darkness has to do its job.>
-
If it means leaving behind D2 then I’m all for it. Necessary sacrifices and all that good shit
-
This happens I'm done. Respect my time please and I am the only one of my 60 clan members left that feals this way. Right they abanded you long ago. You are going to make me cry
-
I really hope you're wrong. But since that seems to be the bungie way I would not be surprised. It would be really cool if they could do like mass effect (2&3) where they import stuff from previous games so vets have emotes, shaders, emblems, ships and/or sparrows available as soon as they boot the game up the same way each mass effect imported your character appearance and choices.

I don’t think we will ever know if Bungie planned to make Destiny like WoW and keep adding more to the game as time went on or do this reset every 3 years. I miss my Vex Mythoclast, Fatebringer and Gally. I don’t like how we keep getting old stuff from D1. I think it would be better for Bungie from here on out to not reset the game and just keep D2 but add on new content. If there are concerns people would just keep using old stiff then I say If they offered better weapons and gear then people would chase that rather than keep using old gear. Bungie said we could keep our gear (to a point this did happen) then we needed to leave our gear for D2 but then they bring back the old gear/weapons anyway. Better to let us keep the old gear but give it a catalyst quest to empower it better. Ace of Spades is an example of how it could have been done. If you had it in D1 then let us have a catalyst quest to unlock it for all classes and get the Memento Mori. We keep the old gear but have something to do in D2. This could be done for D3 while also giving us better and new loot.

Eh, I got over it pretty quickly.

8 OdpowiedziSo? Borderlands 2 did it Diablo did it Halo 2 did it Skyrim did it Mass effect did it Pretty much every game that's ever had a sequel did it.
-
Only gun I’ve ever truly cared about in this franchise is Legend of Acrius, and I’ll still be able to log back in to D2 when I feel like it. It’s fine.
-
If that's the case when do I get my RAZE LIGHTER back!!! Bungie I want it NOW, NOW, NOW.
-
It’s almost like it’s a tri-annually released video game
-
It's the only way to make the new loot relevant. Why would you want to start a new game with complete builds that will be hard to ever beat? Maybe some cosmetic stuff can carry over but no guns/armor.
-
That's the point of a new game, it was the same between Diablo 1, 2 and 3, Mass Effect 1 and 2, and every other game with RPG elements.
-
I don't really care. I just care about a good game.
-
Good. New game, new start 👍

1 OdpowiedźI just hope they are going to nerf fusion riffles in d3

1 OdpowiedźProbably but as long as it’s KICK ASS material and gunplay is as good as is or better, millions will be sold. I’m guessing it’ll be on ps5 probably with 60fps and most likely hdr or at least 4K + it “could” be Effin awesome.
