I have years invested in Destiny and there are a ton of things about this game that frustrate me to no end.
But I always come back, its the game I play everyday. Destiny feels like home.
So no I am not waiting for Anthem. But I am hoping that the threat of it will encourage Bungie to do great things with the franchise that I have spent 5 years enjoying.

Aside from visuals. The game looks mediocre at Best.

TBH I hope Anthem has 1 month of playable content to last until The Div 2 comes out, I'm kinda sick of the mechanic heavy ball chucking/jumping simulator Destiny has become apart from a few cool weapons I really see no point in doing the ball chucking symbol jumping puzzle bollocks it has become, D1 doing a jumping puzzle was funny between bosses because if it got to much you could get pulled or leave and rejoin, now if you don't do them you missing out on power engrams and endgame loot. So I'm ready for some new action.

1 OdpowiedźWouldn't say excited. After all EA is involved. But it should be a pleasant distraction for afew weeks.
-
Yeah dude anthem looks like hot garbage to me. Wouldnt be unhappy if it was a good game though.
-
No. I don't even know what Anthem is about and don't really care. I tried to hype myself up for RDR2. I didn't buy it at launch. I didn't buy the season pass. I played it for about 45 minutes. I just doesn't work for me like Destiny. Destiny is in my blood. We all love to hate it at times - most of us are still here. Time will tell if the split with Activision was a good thing. I believe it will be.

I was excited about Anthem for about 2 seconds until I saw it was from EA and BioWare. Only game I’ve played from them was SWTOR. Not a shooter, but they ruined that game. Maybe their shooters are better, but the one game I did play from them left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Still I might play it.

hmm jetpacking flying around until you overheat (which hurts you) and forces you to run for bit oh but if you fly through water it cools it down ALOT OF FUN....(hella sarcasm)
-
Nahhh. The AI in that game looks boring as hell. It’ll get a lot of hype at first but I see that game really fizzing out fast. You need interesting enemies to fight.
-
1 OdpowiedźI'm with you dude. Anthem doesn't look that great to me. It looks slow paced, no under water combat, no PVP and over all no super powers. I don't want a weapon / machine to try do what my Nova bomb can. No machine will be as wicked as my fiery winged death angel when I am blazing Dawnblade. Can we have a Destiny Guardians vs Anthem Javelins PVP . I want to wreck them all.
-
It is enticing but I despise EA more than Activision so I'm waiting out for reviews. Might rent it from redbox.
-
I’ll probably still play Destiny 2, but Anthem’s aesthetic is absolutely perfect for me. Half mech, half body armor. The Javelins look like the god-baby of Iron Man and Titans from Titanfall 2. And the gameplay looks really mobile and fun. I cannot WAIT to dart around the battlefield and hawk at the scenery.

#Gaming dude. Just...just post these kinds of posts in #Gaming. Ninjas don’t like it when posts are out of their specific category. Aka Offtopic. They’re really bad about this rule lol
-
The 3rd person view and no pvp makes it a no for me
-
1 OdpowiedźYes. Pretty much you are. The exodus that this franchise will experience once Anthem launches is going to be epic. If Anthem sucks then most will return. If Anthem is everything Destiny failed to be then a new franchise will be born.
-
Excited is the wrong word - no one is excited for the unknown - they're just ready to move on. This game is a huge pile, the situation surrounding it is even worse, it's time to move on. I'm not saying Anthem is the game, I'm saying allot of us are waiting for that game. I personally don't trust Bungie anymore.
-
Only one way to tell, free demo February 1-3 if anyone even wants to try it
-
3 OdpowiedziAnthem has no pvp. Shooters are so bland now adays that PvE barely engages.
-
I'm excited.

Bad habbits are hard to brake.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Why is this happening?: 1/14/2019 11:09:58 PMOne of the perks of having a longer attention span than that of a stick, is that I'm able to play, and be interested in multiple games. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me it works.

Learn after dragon age 2 never be excited for bioware game me3 da 2 and dai were all shitty ill wait and see how anthem is but im not getting my hopes up
-
I’ll 100% be getting it, but it won’t be better than Destiny. The demo felt quite bland. But I’m sure I’ll get my money worth out of it.
-
1 OdpowiedźI’m not excited, bout the only game other than destiny I want is the new ace combat. The thing that cracks me up is the blind faith people have for anthem. Like I hope it’s good for their sake but knowing EA I wouldn’t hold my breath.
-
I've played all the Mass Effect games including Mass Effect Andromeda. That makes me look forward to Anthem because it's based on the same game engine which I liked. No pvp is a plus. Future sci fi genre is a plus. If it combines the things I like between Destiny and the Mass Effect series, I will like it.

It looks very monster hunter world to me. I didn’t want to play that game either.
